Gen V

Leafeon (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Chlorophyll

EVs: 236 Atk / 252 Def / 20 Spd

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

  • Leaf Blade
  • Swords Dance
  • X-Scissor
  • Synthesis
by
Very nice set, i would however go with jolly max speed.
dont really like this moveset. it doesn't have sunny day so it defeats the purpose of having synthesis and chlorophyll.
replace X-scissor with soler beam (in case you go up against Closter or some other high defence pokemon)
Also why life orb? If you get in a tough spot and lose with that, your gonna be pretty unhappy...
Solar Beam would not do much since first, Cloyster can one hit KO with an ice type move since Leafeon needs to recharge, second, Leafeon has extremely low Special Attack stat, it is not like Cloyster has no special defense at all too.

Interesting, everyone says Swords Dance, all I see is Curse. :D
Physical Bulky Leafeon:

Leafeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Leaf Guard
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Leaf Blade
- X-Scissor
- Synthesis / Baton Pass
- Curse
This guy is especially fun on Drought teams, as it won't get status conditions and it will recover 2/3 from Synthesis, but can be useful on any UU team as well. Leafeon makes for a great user of Curse, it's speed isn't really great to begin with, it doesn't go over 328 ever, so sweeping would be difficult with the 100 base speed sweepers around. I say forget Swords Dance and make this guy Bulky as well as offensive. Leaf Blade gives STAB, X-Scissor gives better coverage, and Synthesis is for recovery, especially nice in the sun. Baton Pass can be used instead of Synthesis, if rather than recovering, you would prefer to give the Curse boosts to another fresher teammate to abuse.
EVs give 301 HP, max attack and 200 SpDef, not really great, but Def is getting boosted by Curse, so investment there is essentially pointless.

Most people use Swords dance because they also use Chloryphyll on a drought or sunny day team

Ivy (Leafeon) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpAtk)
Ability: Leaf Guard / Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 HP / 124 Def / 124 Spd
-Leaf Blade
-Iron Tail
-Knock Off
-X-Scissor

Leaf Blade is obvious. Iron Tail is your Ice and Fairy Coverage. X-Scissor is Your Psychic and Dark coverage. Knock Off, while predictable, makes Leafeon dangerous to switch into and in general just makes life more difficult by throwing a monkey wrench into play. Scarf Leafeon is awesome. This set is built to be mildly physically bulky as well, taking advantage of its 130 base Defense.

EDITED NOTE: This set, originally made in 2012, ran Double-Edge, but Leafeon was even worse back then and had no alternatives for a Choice Scarf set.

Ivy (Leafeon) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Leaf Guard / Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Iron Tail
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance

Leafeon's speed has also been buffed since I posted this, and it makes it now suitable for at least giving this basic set a shot.

Can you say support?

Layla (Leafeon) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
IVs: NaN SAtk
- Leaf Blade
- Substitute
- Synthesis
- Heal Bell

I'll just give a little backstory as to why I made mine be this. My teams always have too many Ground weaknesses or too little resistances. As most Ground moves are physical, I figure this guy is perfect to take EQs with, and with that defense stat he can be a very formidable wall.

Leaf Blade is for STAB, and as it's the only attacking move, may as well make it a high critical hit-chance one.

Substitute is for possible Haunter switch-ins, so you can still get off a Leaf Blade or Synthesis, depending which you need more.

Finally Heal Bell for maximum supporting capabilities. Yawn could be used too, but I prefer ridding status off of my sweepers.

leaf guard and sythesis become useless without sunny day
not synthesis but totally leaf guard. Also 1 attack move?!

Leafeon @ Assault Vest
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 81 HP / 211 Def / 216 SpD
Careful Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- X-Scissor
- Quick Attack quick attack is decent for when you/they have low health. X scissor is coverge, and so if knock off. EVs are clear and Chlorophyll is because with vest suns not possible, and it trolls sun teams

Gen VII
Leafeon @ Choice Scarf / Choice Band / Life Orb
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Nature: Jolly
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- Synthesis / Protect / Swords Dance
- Aerial Ace / X-Scissors
Leaf Blade for STAB and Critical hit ratio increase. Knock Off for Super effectiveness against Alakazam, Gengar (basically Ghost and Psychics). Synthesis for quick healing, Protect for Coverage, Swords Dance for raising attack. Aerial Ace for coverage and accuracy check. X-Scissors for damage.

This is my new answer, I've hope it was better!

Leafeon (M) @ Lum Berry

Ability : Chlorophyll

EVs : 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 HP

Nature : Adamant

Leaf Blade

Swords Dance

Synthesis

Sunny Day

I guess this is a sweeper set, but it will only work against a physical attacker. Chlorophyll boosts speed by a lot in the sun, while the sun also powers up how much synthesis heals you. Swords Dance plus Leaf Blade totally destroys. Don't set up too early though!

Leafelollz

Impish nature
252 Def, 101 Hp, 100 Atk, 55 Spd
Trait: Leaf Guard

Toxic
Protect
Sunny day
Leaf blade

Stall your foes into madness with Leafelollz! A toxic staller set that isn't wrecked by taunt or torment! Toxic is a must, Protect for your Leftovers, Sunny day and Leaf Guard shut down other toxic stallers or para/sleep hacks and Leaf blade for raw damage and to not be wrecked by taunt / torment.

Ability: Chlorophyll
Leaf Blade
Aerial ace
X-scissor
Dig*
Note-Team up with a Pokemon that has drought or uses sunny day to activate Chlorophyll
+Very powerful assist sweeper that pretty much will always go first and can take out almost anything in one hit.
I use it with Ninetails drought and back up with a Mega Houndoom ;)

^it says that you team up with another pokemon with sunny day/drought

Leafeon @ Heat Rock
EVs: 252 Sp. Def, 252 Def, 4 Spd
Trait: Leaf Guard
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
Moves:
Sunny Day - Increases the amount of health gained with synthesis. With leaf guard, it protects Leafeon from status changes.
Synthesis - Heals double the normal amount with sunny day.
Leaf Blade/Solar Beam - Leaf Blade has STAB, deals 90 damage, high chance of crit. hit, 100% acc. Solar Beam is powered instantly because of Sunny Day, has STAB, deals 120 damage, and has 100% acc.
Swords Dance/Dig/Toxic - Swords Dance increases Leafeon's attack, which leads to Leaf Blade being an OP move. Dig would be for fire type coverage. Toxic can be used to get rid of many Pokemon quickly, as damage increases each turn, and paired with synthesis and leaf guard would make Leafeon pretty unbeatable.

That's the Leafeon I used in ORAS. I didn't need much coverage because of the other Pokemon I had in my team, so mine knew Sunny Day/Leaf Blade/Synthesis/Swords Dance. It was pretty strong when paired with a water or electric type, since both would help deal with it's weaknesses.

I don't know why but, out of the blue (Or green!) I just started loving Leafeon. So now I hate every Eeveelution except for Jolteon and Leafeon.

LeafyIsHere (Leafeon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Leaf Guard
Trait: Adamant
EVS: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 4 Spd

Sunny Day (If the toxic rains on your parade, Use Sunny Day to recover with the help of your ability)

Leaf Blade (STAB)

Swords Dance (Come on! You know why.)

Synthesis (Recover HP, And Sunny Day Stack.)

by
BurgerKingFootLettuce would also be a good name, if it wasn't for the character limit. And sorry for no coverage, Leafeon has barely any coverage moves.
it does get x-scissor knock off return
I know, when did I say that I didn't know that?
He said it didn't get many coverage moves it gets plenty though
You don't understand. My definition of coverage is a move that protects it from super-effective 'mons with a super effective move against that mon. Leafeon's only coverage move fitting that definition is a bad move.
Iron Tail isn't a bad move.

And I present the you the worst incarnation of Leafeon that has ever been presented: Special Leafeon.

Leafeon @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA, 200 Spe, 56 SpD
Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
Moveset 1:
Work Up
Sunny Day
Solar Beam
Stored Power

Moveset 2:
Sunny Day
Solar Beam
Attract
Synchronoise

Moveset 3:
Sunny Day
Solar Beam
Synthesis
Shadow Ball

Strategy 1:
Simple. When you can, set up with Work Up to raise Special Attack. Follow it up with Sunny Day + Solar Beam combo. If Weakness Policy activates, taking in all its boosts (Modest, 252 SpA EVs, Work Up, Weakness Policy, STAB, 120 BP) and getting a super-effective hit will be deadly. If only Leafeon had a better Special Attack stat.

Moveset 2:
Kind of simple again. Make your Leafeon female for this. Use Attract against male opponents to stall them and get a good Sunny Day + Solar Beam combo off. Synchronoise is kind of questionable, but deals with the occasional Grass/Poison types like Venusaur and Victreebel. Plus, it might come in handy vs Virizion or Chesnaught.

Strategy 3:
This strategy has a clear focus all around and has some synergy. The traditional Sunny Day + Solar Beam combo goes first this time. Recover health with Synthesis and cover stuff like Gengar with Shadow Ball. Not much to say.

Nevertheless, this strategy is still terrible and you shouldn't consider it for competitive. Dear God just use Physical Leafeon or Wall Leafeon.

by
They completely stripped out Synchonoise from the game OMEGALUL. Would recommend removing from the answer.
This was answered before Swsh came out, so it is assumedly for the gen prior. Otherwise I'd have to edit every single moveset on every single Pokémon that didn't specify it's gen and has a move or ability it no longer does
Given the perfect storm combo of how recent this answer was when the game came out and the rather... unique approach GF took to stripping out the move, I thought this might actually be worth editing and removing unless some specific note was made for the set.
We don't update sets from previous gens because they're for a different meta game.

Go for sun Leafeon.

Leafeon @ Life Orb
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sunny Day
- Solar Blade
- Synthesis
- Dig

Alternatively, Swords Dance boosts Attack even higher. Another good move is X-Scissor. Iron Tail covers ice too. Dig is the best option though, as it covers steel and fire. Bugs will be trouble though, so Iron Tail is a good option for that.

Reformatted, with all chosen customizations retained. Hope you don't mind.
Fine, how good is the moveset?
Dig is a bad move competitively. Never use dig in a serious match
I'm pretty sure it's a dynamax set. Dynamax leafeon in sun makes great use of max quake.
Unless they mention that or it's format generally specifically than in going to assume it's not.

Generation VIII
Leafeon(F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Leaf Guard
EVs: 236 Atk/ 252 Def/ 20 Spd
Nature: Adamant (+Atk -Sp.Atk)
- Leaf Blade
- Solar Blade
- Sunny Day
- X-Scissors
A set of physical moves that can deal intense damage. Sunny Day quickly charges the high damage dealing move Solar Blade without wasting your power herb. Leaf Blade comes in naturally to increase the chance of critical hits. X-Scissors can counter Psychic and Dark types, giving Leafeon more moves that can be super effective.

Eevee @ Eevium Z
Ability: Anticipation
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Impish Nature
- Last Resort
- Double Team
- Substitute
- Baton Pass

This set should only be used in AG, because baton pass is banned from Ubers (I think). Substitute first, then Evoboost, Baton Pass in the face of a taunter, or use Double Team and then Baton Pass. The ability Anticipation is to see if the enemy packs Fighting type moves.

This one is a no charge powerhouse.

Leafeon @ Power Herb
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe
Ability: Chlorophyll
Jolly Nature
-Solar Blade
-Swords Dance
-Sunny Day/Dig/Iron Tail
-Skull Bash

Solar Blade and Skull Bash do significant damage, and Sunny Day is for an extra speed boost if you want. Swords Dance is obvious, and then Dig is for Fire and Poison coverage, Iron Tail covers Ice. It works pretty well.

Life Orb / Leftovers > Power Herb
SBash is a bad move, because of the two turns needed for it to attack.
