Why does the site's font glitch?

This has happened before, but it usually only happens for one person. Everyone in the chat noticed it, and it's still going on as a type this question.

So my question is, why does this happen?

I don't know what you're talking about but I just thought it was a good time to say that the font is really nice.

I did some testing on Windows and the font looked quite glitchy actually. And on Internet Explorer 9 half the letters were missing!

Anyway I've just made some changes that should make the font look better on all computers. Please let me know if it looks ok to you.

looks fine now. before the whole layout of the site was different for me.

I updated the font across the site so that's why it's different.

Looks mostly OK in your screenshot apart from a few letters. I'll take a closer look later tonight.
