There is another one I think but i can't find it. They must have hidden it.

Anyway, these are SUPER ANNOYING because:
1) We have a dual type chart
2) sumwun liked the bulbapeadia page of THEIR dual tupe chart onto the askers wall
3) Surely most of these are basically duplicates because it just the same answer. One resists, one is weak against it. THERE BASICALLY THE SAME!!!

Sorry for sounding so mad btw.

Yeah ikr.
I mean, probably not. The rules say not to ask questions in which the answer can be easily found on the site. It's not hard to know the type matchups. Either git good or use the dual type chart in the site. Easy.
eXcess, you just said it wasn't probaly against the rules and then say part of the rules that would make it not allowed. Wth.
I meant it was probably not allowed. O_o
The question asked if these questions should be allowed, and I said Probably not. I am completely on ur side.
Oh. I just misunderstood.
Lol it's fine.
What does my wall have to do with this?
Not ur wall sumwun. I meant you posted the link to bulbapeadia's dualntyep chart.
First, you do realize that you can edit that post if you made a mistake, right?
Second, I meant to link the one from Pokemon DB.

I removed both of the questions. I would like to make clear though: a question that asks ‘Why is Fairy super effective against Dragon?’ is allowed. We already have some decent threads of that ilk, and they tend to work quite well. However, the issue I took with those threads was:

  • The asker did seem to ask a question like the one I described above once or twice. However, they flip between wanting a mechanical and a ‘scientific’ explanation on the same thread, so it’s impossible to tell what they actually want.

  • The asker’s English is pretty ordinary, so it’s hard to understand their questions in the first place. This makes it difficult to edit the question into something reasonable, as we can’t reflect what the asker wants.

  • The asker doesn’t conduct themselves very well on the threads they post, which only makes it harder to work with them. I prefer to keep threads up if we can just take down the comments that are derailing them, but that doesn’t appear possible this time.

For the record, questions that actually ask ‘Is Ice weak to Fire?’ are low quality and low effort, and I would remove them. In this case there was more to it than that.
