I was looking at the Tournament Ideas, and found out that most of the answers were made years ago, and had a large amount of upvotes. Of course no one would check past page 2 or 3 to upvote or downvote ideas, so there would be a very large amount of ideas that were never voted on or seen. So, whenever I post an idea I have to scroll all the way to the last page to find my answer. I just want a change to the answers system so that new ideas don't go unheard, or at very least I want a filtering system.

Answers with more votes are supposed to be better and more visible. I think an easier way to fix this is decreasing the voting requirement to 26 points, so new answers have a more fair chance of competing against old answers from before the voting requirement. Also new answers probably should appear before old answers if they have the same number of votes.
I always check it if someone answered on the tourney page. The site gives a notification for that.

Whenever someone answers a question, it shows up on the recent activity page. When people click on it, they see that answer before most of the other answers. As sumwun said, the highest voted answers are generally better, so they should be seen first.
I agree with Forretress.
