Using emojis is fun. Chatting on the DB is fun. Why not put those two things together? Unless, it's, like, copyright or something, then don't.

Ew emojis
Personally, as long as I can type “:P”, I am satisfied. Also, does the chat reject emojis or is it that you can’t type them on a keyboard? :P

Edit: it seems to entirely reject input with Emojis, fyi. :P
There already are a few emojis that can be posted, like ™️ and ➕. Pokemaster most likely decided to only support a few emojis to keep the site looking nice, so I doubt he will change his mind now. Many other websites are the same way.
Emojis can't be "copyrighted". They're part of the alphabet that computers use, like any other letter. You can't copyright letters.
I think it is because the cite supports Unicode characters, which are supported on sites by default and emojis aren’t part of. :P
Yeah, you’re right. Both of those are Unicode characters.
Just use emoticons. better, easier to type, a̶n̶d̶ ̶w̶a̶y̶ ̶l̶e̶s̶s̶ ̶c̶r̶i̶n̶g̶y.
