Suggestion: Add a Nuzlocke Ideas thread

Question

Many people have Nuzlocke ideas, and dont know where to put it. I think this would be cool to add a place for ideas to go, and it could be implemented like the Tournaments thread.

The tournaments thread, and by extension tournaments, are something that everyone on the DB can actively participate in. Nuzlocke runs are a mostly solo thing, and not really something that can be shared with the community as a whole, so I'm not sure if it'd have a place here

@felix just because they’re single player doesn’t mean they can’t be shared. As far as I know, a decent amount of users here do nuzlockes. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to start a thread for people to share alternative ways to play the games. It could include all sorts of different rule sets, not just nuzlockes.

I mean I'm not against it but can't you just share your ideas on wall and on chat and stuff? Other than maybe having some for traffic on the topic (which could be a good enough reason but doesn't really factor into how we deal with moderation) it feels kind of unnecessary.

Edit to clarify: I'm not ruling this out but I want to be sure a significant number of people actively want and would use a thread. I don't want to make a thread and then it be dead in 2 weeks.

Then you can write those on your wall or onto a doc or something, it doesn't require a thread

Yeah, but this could be a thread that everyone can see, like if you want a Nuzlocke idea but the only places to find them here are on people's walls or about me's ... the thread would solve that

It's solving a problem that only you seem to have, is what I'm saying. I need vocal support from several people to assure me it's going to be useful, and we still need to discuss this stuff on Auth discord
