Showdown is not formally associated with this community, but we do have our own server that uses the platform. We go to Meta when we want somewhere to publicly discuss our server. You won't find posts here about developing Showdown itself because that is not connected to PokemonDB.
We allow general questions about Showdown on the main section in the game way we would allow questions about a main series Pokemon game. We do this because Showdown comprises a massive part of Pokemon's competitive community and many people from this site use it.
