Why would you ask it again if the other one doesn't have an answer? If you think somebody might know the answer to it, then bump the original post, but I don't see a reason to ask the same question again.

not a full answer but it's usually a case by case type of thing. for meta it's usually okay because after a certain amount of years suggestions disappear into the void of posts. for pokebase, it depends on a lot of things
For Pokebase, I'd say it's always not allowed.

Yes. Please don't re-ask questions under any circumstance.

As others have mentioned, we're a bit lenient with Meta threads because they're more discussion-based, and the same ideas may generate different responses if they're posted years later.
