Why there are "Where can I EV train my Pokémon for stat" questions?

Smogon has articles for EV training in each game.
Some of these kind of questions doesn't mention all games where to EV train in.

Just because Smogon has something doesn’t mean we can’t. Should we take down the site because people can just look at Bulbapedia, Smogon, and Serebbi for our information?

Smogon articles are much harder to edit than Pokebase answers. I think some of the Smogon articles are still incomplete despite getting published maybe 8 or 9 years ago.

The comments answer this question. To summarise:

• The information is useful.
• Smogon having information on one particular thing does not mean that we can't show the same information, nor that we can't present it in a better way.
• It is much easier to keep PokeBase threads up-to-date, as any person can make a new answer, and many active users can edit posts.
• PokeBase threads are likely to have more diverse answers, because anybody can contribute.
