How long until I’m not a new user

Question

I can’t edit my profile because I’m a new user! Can somebody please tell me when I can edit my profile!

looks like it was changed to 30 points to spam. i actually didn't know of this change. with upvotes, you should be able to edit your profile, but possibly only on the section you're on. now that you have an upvote on meta, you should be able to change our profile on meta.

Another edit: I didnt realise I had different accounts and points for different sections….

I am also a new user and first i also could not make any changes to my account but after an hour i could.

So i think you have to wait an hour and then you can make changes.

You need 30 points to be considered not a new user. This change is in response to a spam problem.
