Why is cresselia so easy to catch?

I mean on my white 2 I caught it in a dusk ball straight away and it wasn't even night! is this a glitch?

No glitch; you're just lucky.

Since the Dusk Ball has a catch rate that matches that of a PokeBall in daytime, you had a 0.4% chance of capturing it at Full HP with no status problem. You're just extremely lucky.

So yeah, Cresselia is NOT easy to catch. A Catch Rate of 3 is extremely low.
