Does Gastro Acid on Gale Wings Work ?

Question

Has anybody used gastro acid on talonflame ? I landed Gastro Acid on Talonflame with Arbok but it didn't work . Has anyone else tried Gastro Acid ?

If the Talonflame was faster than your Pokemon even without priority, it has no real effect.

Yes it does

However Talonflame is a fast Pokemon and will most likely outspeed Arbok.
Priority or not.

Tested on Showdown.
I used a slower Fletchinder with Gale Wings and Talonflame with Gale Wings suppressed by Gastro Acid. Fletchinder moved before Talonflame because it had Gale Wings while Talon did not. If Talon had Gale Wings it would've moved first because when its priority vs priority the Pokemon with the fastest speed wins the tie.
