If your intent is to use Toxic then repeatedly alternate between Detect and Protect, you should know that the strategy will not work. Consecutive uses of protection moves will increase the chance that they will fail, even if they are different moves entirely. If you would like to use a Toxic stall set, you're far better off using just Protect and leaving it at that.
