On average (in days), how long do American dubs take to be aired on television/released online after the Japanese subs?
Also, what was the largest time gap between a sub and its respective dub and what was the smallest?
Really curious to know.

XYZ dubbed was aired a few months after the Japanese.  But  for SM series it was around 7 months. Which is really interesting - perhaps the change of graphics played a part ?
Sun and Moon took time to be dubbed because they changed channels from CN to Disney XD.
It was always Disney in some countries like the UK though, I guess waiting for the US market is more important
