Is there a way to clone Pokémon in USUM?

Question

So I have a shiny Naganadel (639 resets) with Modest nature, and my friend wants one. However, I want to keep mine. Is there a way I can clone said Naganadel (either by computer/whatever) and give one to my friend via Link Trade?

There's probably a way that involves trading a Pokemon and turning off the power at some point on one of the two games after trading.

The only way is the use an Action Replay which is a device that you connect to your 3DS/DS.
