Beedrill
Beedrill @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature / Jolly Nature
- X-Scissor
- Poison Jab
- Drill Run
- U-turn

Explanation: First, you Mega Evolve Beedrill to get the high Attack and Speed. X-Scissor is STAB with a boost due to Adaptability. Poison Jab is another STAB move with boosted power due to Adaptability. Drill Run is to take out Rock and Fire types. U-turn is to make the opponent take damage and switch Pokemon at the same time if an opponent is to tough. You can run this set with Adamant nature for more power, or Jolly for the Speed boost.

Beedrill has no need for protect.  You're wasting a valuable moveslot.

Gen 7 UU / Nat Dex UU

Beedrill-Mega @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm / Sniper
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off
- Drill Run

U-turn is Adapatability boosted STAB and pivoting. Poison Jab is Adaptability boosted STAB with a good poisoning chance. Knock Off is a powerful move that cripples switch-ins with its item-removing effect. Drill Run hits Fire and Steel types. This set works best with entry hazard support, since Mega Beedrill forces a lot of switches, and entry hazards + Adaptability U-turn wear down its potential checks very quickly.

Gen 7 ZU

Beedrill @ Focus Sash
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Def / 0 SpD
Jolly Nature
- Endeavor
- Toxic Spikes
- U-turn
- Knock Off / String Shot

Endeavor brings the enemy down to 1 HP. Toxic Spikes inflict poison or bad poison on anything switching in, depending on the amount of layers, and with the Focus Sash, they are easier to set up. U-turn is to get out of there. Knock Off removes items, String Shot harshly lowers Speed, forcing the target to switch out, which in turn poisons the Pokemon switching in and also gives you a free turn to use U-turn or Endeavor.

If you had wanted to Endeavor do as much as high damage as it would reach 1% HP, then you would want it to die quicker? So why not 0 in Def and Sp.Def, HP?

Dual Dance Beedrill
Gen 7 ZU

Beedrill @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Poison Jab
- X-Scissor / Drill Run
- Swords Dance
- Agility

Poison Jab is STAB. X-Scissor is also STAB. Drill Run can be used instead so you won't be walled by opposing steel and poison types. Swords Dance boosts your attack. Agility boosts your speed.

Gen 4

Crud (Weedle) @ Life Orb / Oran Berry / Choice Band
Level: 5
Ability: Shield Dust
EVs: 196 HP / 236 Atk / 36 Def / 36 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bug Bite
- Poison Sting
- String Shot

Nobody wants to switch into a powerful STAB Bug Bite from a Pokemon with base 35 Attack. It eats any Oran Berries in its path too. A powerful Poison Sting can do a lot of damage with its base 15 power + STAB + base 35 Attack. String Shot is annoying against switch-ins.

National Dex UU

Beedrill @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- U-turn

Mega Beedrill, who was once considered a meme in National Dex UU, now has a legitimate niche in the tier. While still not good in the tier, Pursuit is the reason one would use Mega Beedrill. Mega Beedrill's niche in National Dex UU is being used as a Pursuit trapper to deal with faster Pokemon like Alakazam. Poison Jab is used for poison STAB that is boosted by Adaptability deals super effective damage to fairy types like Mega Altaria and Primarina. Knock Off is for coverage while also providing good utility by removing items. Pursuit is to punish Pokemon such as Alakazam for switching out. U-Turn is STAB that allows you to get away from Pokemon who wall you. Since Mega Beedrill is weak to Stealth Rock, you're going to need two Defoggers or one Defogger + Hatterene to make sure Stealth Rock isn't up on your side.

While Beedrill isn't the best Bug-type sweeper with a Mega in NatDex Monotype, it's a good one. So here's a
somewhat viable moveset for Beedrill.

Beedrill-Mega (M) @ Beedrillite
Ability: Sniper/Adaptability
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drill Run (great coverage, high crit ratio is very useful)
- Knock Off/Throat Chop (coverage for Ghosts that resists your STAB)
- Poison Jab (great STAB, assuming 140-160 BP with Adaptability)
- U-turn/X-Scissor ( U-turn for fast pivoting, X-Scissor for power.)

Jolly Nature is to ensure Beedrill outspeeds most other equally fast Megas, like Mega Sceptile.

252 Atk Adaptability Beedrill-Mega U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar-Mega: 240-284 (70.3 - 83.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Beedrill can also put some fully offensive Tyranitar (252 ATK, 252 SPD) in trouble.
Throat Chop is to stop Throat Spray Torch Song Skeledirge, while Knock Off is a great utility move, doing double damage on Pokémon with items.

"The Bug that shaped the world" Weedle

NecrozmaArceusZygarde

"Weedle's Children"

Weedle, Male @ Focus sash/Nature Modest (I really don't care what Nature you give him he's gonna die anyways.
EVs 252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/4Hp

-Electro Web
-String Shot
-Poison Sting
-Bug Bite

the plan is the be the main target of attack for another Bug that sets up with Tail Glow

""Literal power line"Xurkitree

Xurkitree
@ Life Orb or Shell Bell EVs 252 Sp Atk/252 Speed/4 Hp
Nature Timid
-Tail Glow
-Dazzling Gleam
-Discharge
-Protect

I know this sounds stupid but believe me on this one, Xurkitree uses Protect on the first turn then Weedle uses Electro Web to lower the oppositions speed then they'll be slower then Xurkitree who has sky high Sp Atk after that, one Tail Glow and Discharge WILL be killing everything that isn't Blissey or a Ground type and in those cases you use Dazzling Gleam.
