Meltan, the mysterious intentional Pokemon in Pokémon GO. Turns into ditto, has same data file as Kecleon, what else is there about Meltan? What type? Max CP? We all know its a ditto, but when it transforms, does it have the same stats as regular ditto? Or is it a weaker/ stronger ditto?

Bonus question: Does it register in the pokedex?

All I know is that it's obviously Steel type
Meltan: the Hex Nut Pokémon. A Steel type.

Most of Meltan’s body is made from liquid metal, and its shape is very fluid. It can use its liquid arms and legs to corrode metal and absorb it into its own body.

Meltan generates electricity using the metal it absorbs from outside sources. It uses this electricity as an energy source and also as an attack that can be fired from its eye.

Clearly a curious Pokémon, Meltan is very expressive and shows an interest in all kinds of things.

Height: 8 in
Weight: 17.6 lbs
BMI: 200

I know that it looks nothing like a Pokémon.
Lol, but seriously, it doesn't look like something The Pokémon Company would make.

The latest trailer directly suggests there is a "greater secret" to Meltan. It shows several Meltan together and then a large shadow. To me that's implying an alternate form similar to Zygarde Complete Forme that was made out of Zygarde Cubes/Cores. Of course, nothing is confirmed at this point.

It is a mythical Pokemon. It is a steel type. CP is unknown at the moment of writing this. Ditto always has the all non hp stat of the transformed Pokemon so it does not have a stats of regular ditto I guess. Because it is a mythical Pokemon its stat should be 600 while every stat should be 100 each. So it should be a stonger ditto while transformed but will become normal after caught due to transforming back into a ditto.(all the stat based answer is a prediction so it may not be real. But because it is mythical Pokemon and every mythical poke has 600 BST so it should also have the same amount)

Arceus, Keldeo, mega Diancie, and Hoopa are technicaly mythical Pokemon that have different BSTs.
But all the little ones has 600 BST
I think Meltan is supposed to be one of the little ones.
Yeah Meltan doesn't seem like a Diancie or manaphy, it looks pretty weak and small for a mythical
Detaminers found out Meltan has 300 BST.
