the only new pokemon in the entire crown tundra that got coverage moves so of course they only gave it 30 speed
With Trick Room, this thing would be incredibly strong...

Trick Room Dynamaxer:

Glastrier @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Brave Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Body Press
- Icicle Crash
- High Horsepower

When Dynamaxed, this Pokémon can take just about any hit, so Weakness Policy is great. Body Press turns in to Max Knuckle for an Attack boost, Heavy Slam turns in to Max Steelspike for a Defense boost, Icicle Crash turns in to Max Hailstorm, which is strong STAB that breaks sashes, and High Horsepower turns in to Max Quake which boosts Special Defense.

Why Body Press when Close Combat is there?
Being entirely dependent on Dynamax is bad.
And, since Dynamax is banned in OU and lower tiers (most of them), it had be AG or Uber. Then Calyrex-Ice is much better. (Though Calyrex-Shadow is broken now, people are running Yveltal, means Ice is comfortable).
First of all, you guys do realize there is such thing as an actual Pokémon game, right? Body press takes advantage of it’s great defense, and it’s supposed to be a bulky attacker, so body press is better to not lower defenses. Heavy slam is situational, and can really suck against other heavy opponents. Its not entirely dependent on dynamax, it can do just fine outside of it
Yeah guys this really isnt that bad lol.
Ok, I edited it, and I play ranked battles lol

VGC 2021 Trick Room Dynamax Sweeper

Glastrier @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Chilling Neigh
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
- Icicle Crash
- High Horsepower
- Close Combat
- Protect

Under Trick Room, Glastrier is a beast. With Icicle Crash as a strong Ice-type STAB Attack, it destroys all non-Ice-resistant Pokemon. High Horsepower is powerful coverage for Rock, Steel, and Fire types. Close Combat is more coverage, as well as turning into Max Knuckle under Dynamax, boosting its already high attack even further. After a few Chilling Neigh boosts and Trick Room up, there is little to do against it. Sitrus Berry is my item of choice because another member of my team (Rhyperior) already used up the Weakness Policy slot, but Weakness Policy is usually run.

This set works well under Trick Room along with support Pokemon like Amoonguss, Dusclops, and Incineroar. I find it really fun to use, as not much resists all of its attacks. Tapu Fini can stand in its way, but it can't do much damage back in return.

RestTalk Glastrier (ok I admit it's terrible but bear with me)
Glastrier @ Leftovers
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
IVs: 0 SpA
Impish / Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Stomping Tantrum / Body Press

Icicle Crash is STAB. Rest + Sleep Talk is the whole point of the set lmao. Rest along with Leftovers and 252 Defense EVs adds to Glastrier's already enormous longevity. Stomping Tantrum can be used with Rest (if you think your opponent might set up but they might also hit you with a strong attack) or Sleep Talk (if you can afford to burn a turn). It can also be helpful if Sleep Talk summons Rest. It also becomes stronger if Icicle Crash misses. Body Press can be used for a more consistent powerful attack. I suggest running Impish nature if and only if you run Body Press.

Rest will fail if summoned by Sleep Talk.

Gen 8 NU

Glastrier @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 208 HP / 252 Atk / 48 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- High Horsepower
- Swords Dance
- Facade / Close Combat / Rest / Heavy Slam

48 Speed EVs are used to speedcreep common Copperajah sets, the rest is invested into bulk since Glastrier is really slow otherwise. An alternate set of 68 HP / 216 Atk / 224 Spe and a Jolly Nature can be used to outspeed uninvested Vaporeon and Sylveon as well as hit a benchmark that lets it outspeed Dragalge, something 48 Spe cannot do. Icicle Crash is powerful STAB. High Horsepower is coverage that hits Fire, Steel, and Rock types. Swords Dance boosts Attack. Facade is used to abuse the presence of moves such as Vaporeon and Dragalge's Scald, the multitude of Toxics flying around, Arcanine and Rotom-M's Will-O-Wisp, and Thunder Wave from...something. Close Combat is a stronger hit on Steel and Rock than High Horsepower, but its Defense and Special Defense lowering side effect combined with Glastrier's low Speed means it will almost always have to switch out after using the move. Rest is used to be an effective stallbreaker, and it also removes status. Heavy Slam hits Rock types hard, but it isn't as good as the other options.

Glastrier @ Assault Vest
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Adamant Nature
- Avalanche
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower
- Crunch

A Vest helps it stay alive longer than it already does, and Avalanche is strong STAB that can have 120 base power if it gets hit. Close Combat is strong and covers Rock types. High Horsepower also covers Rock, but also can get Toxapex and Regieleki. Crunch is for its horse counterpart, who's very popular in OU currently.

Gen 8 NU

Glastrier @ Leftovers
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 20 SpD / 176 Spe
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Icicle Crash

This set utilizes Glastrier's offensive and defensive capabilities. Substitute is to avoid status such as poisoning and burns. Iron Defense is to raise your defense. Body Press is coverage and works well with Iron Defense. Icicle Crash is STAB and is especially good coverage along with Body Press. 176 Speed EVs is to outspeed base 50 Pokemon. 252 HP is to maximize your bulk. 20 Special Defense is o help with taking special attacks. The rest of the EVs go to defense.

Gen 8 NU

Glastrier @ Choice Band
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower
- Heavy Slam

Similar to the other Choice Band set on here, but with a different EV spread and one different move. Choice Band boosting its 145 base attack can be dangerous. Icicle Crash is STAB. Close Combat is coverage against steel types like Copperajah. High Horsepower is provides more coverage and deals with fire and poison types like Toxicroak, Drapion, and Salazzle switching in. Heavy Slam allows you to hit Sylveon and Diancie super effectively. 252 Speed EVs with Adamant Nature allows you to creep things like Dragalge and uninvested Sylveon. You can opt for Jolly Nature if you want a little more speed. You'll definitely want Xatu as a teammate, as it can bounce back Stealth Rock which non Heavy Duty Boots Glastrier hate, and can bring in Glastrier saftley with Teleport.

Gen 9 NU Swords Dance

Glastrier @ Leftovers
Ability: Chilling Neigh
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Atk / 92 Def / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Substitute / Crunch
- Icicle Crash
- High Horsepower

Swords Dance Glastrier has been picking up usage in NU thanks to its bulk, attack stat, and Ability that allows it to beat almost every Pokemon in the tier. Swords Dance lets Glastrier boost its already high attack stat to let shred opposing teams apart. Substitute lets Glastrier take advantage of defensive Pokemon, potentially making Glastrier harder to beat due to its bulk. Icicle Crash is Glastrier's only good physical Ice STAB in Gen 9. High Horsepower is a nice coverage move that allows Glastrier to hit Steel- and Fire-types such as Coalossal, Salazzle, Copperajah, Magneton, Tauros-Paldea-Blaze, as well as Pokemon such as Qwilfish super effectively. Plus, almost no Pokemon in the tier can resist both Ice and Ground moves. Crunch is an option over Substitute to hit Levitate Bronzong super effectively and Orthworm for neutral damage. Tera Ground allows High Horsepower to become a STAB move. You can use a defensive type such as Water if you want a defensive Tera type. Leftovers give Glastrier some HP recovery.

252 HP EVs are used for bulk. 44 Speed EVs allow Glastrier to outspeed Pokemon such as Naclstack and Palossand. 92 Defense EVs can help Glastrier survive hits from physical wallbreakers. The rest of the EVs are used in Attack with an Adamant Nature to make Glastrier's attacks more powerful. You can adjust the EV spread to be something like 252 HP / 112 Atk / 92 Def / 52 Spe to outspeed IronPress Bronzong, but you should only do that if you use Crunch over Substitute.

Glastrier @ Leftovers
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Avalanche / Icicle Crash
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Swords Dance

Avalanche if you think it's bulky enough, Icicle Crash if you don't. Close Combat is powerful coverage. Crunch is for Spectrier, and it also doesn't have many better moves. Swords Dance to set up. Give it a Brave Nature and 0 Speed IVs for Trick Room, it excels there, but give it Icicle Crash, as Avalanche makes you go last.

Glastrier @ Leftovers
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Icicle Crash
- High Horsepower

SD can be swapped for any coverage moves but I personally prefer SD to hit like a truck.
If used in Trick Room, Brave Nature and 0 Speed IVs.

By TR, you mean Trick Room? And if Trick Room, mention 0 Spe IVs.

Glastrier @ Choice Band
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 120 HP / 124 Atk / 104 Def / 160 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower
- Megahorn

Players kind of underestimate this thing in singles. With a Choice Band on top of its already high base 145 Attack stat, this thing hits like a truck, and can tank hits decently well too.

This Glastrier set is for ZU at the time of writing this. Yes, Glastrier is ZU now.

Glastrier moved from PU to ZU

Source

SS ZU IronPress + Rest

Glastrier @ Leftovers
Ability: Chilling Neigh
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Atk / 144 SpD / 44 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Icicle Spear
- Rest

Glastrier in ZU...
I didn't think it was good when they revealed it, but I didn't see it finishing the gen in Untiered either...

Anyways... This is an IronPress set with Rest. Iron Defense is used to raise your defense and boost the power of Body Press. Body Press lets Glastrier hit Pokemon such as Klinklang and Miltank super effectively, and it works well with Iron Defense. Icicle Spear is used as the Ice STAB that hits opposing Pokemon more than once. Rest provides Glastrier with a form of recovery.

252 HP EVs is used for bulk for both defensive stats. 44 Speed EVs allow Glastrier to outspeed and attack Palossand before it uses Shore Up to recover HP. 68 Attack EVs is used to make the power of Icicle Spear a bit stronger. The rest of the EVs are used in special defense with a Careful Nature to help Glastrier tank special hits better.

It's in ZU? How it's excellent on trick room
