Incineroar is generally the preferred starter due to superior attacking capabilities, bulk, and a wider movepool, but Decidueye isn't bad at all. I usually use Decidueye in my playthroughts, but I'll give you sets for both:

Decidueye @ Decidium Z
Ability: Overgrow
- Leaf Blade
- Spirit Shackle
- Brave Bird
- U-turn / Sucker Punch / Return

Incineroar @ Incinium Z
Ability: Blaze
- Flare Blitz / Flamethrower
- Darkest Lariat
- Earthquake
- Brick Break / pretty much anything else

From the above information we can conlude that Incineroar is the best as it almost covers all the types which we will face through the game and theother are covered with the moves it learn.

-Fighting move(Double Kick,Brick Break,Low Sweep)

Flare Blitz for STAB and has a very good Atk stat.
Drakest Lariat for STAB as well as Z move.
Earthquake for higher type coverage.
Fighting mob=ves give even more coverage also aginst Inci's weakness rock.
You can use flame charge if you want to be fast.
Also Thunder Punch is great coverage and physical to hit those Water type out

Using the above moveset you can counter every Totem Pokemon and the Elite four,your rival,The Champion

primarina is the best starter by a mile.

• all grand trial
• hakamo-o
• water trial defensively
• ghost trial defnesivle
• fairy trial defensively

in the league

• olivia
• part of acerola's team and also defnsively
• most of kahili's
• half of hau's team

if i wanted Primarina, i would've asked "Rowlet, Litten, or Popplio for US?". Also, what Hakamo-o? if you mean Kommo-o, i'm pretty sure you fight Ribombee in US, not Kommo-o.
