Body Press Sweeper

Goodra-Hisui @ Leftovers
Ability: Shell Armor
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Acid Armor
- Body Press
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

This set just lets Goodra take attacks and set up almost endlessly. If you aren't facing down a Ghost type, Goodra can sweep whole teams. Leftovers provides passive recovery. Shell Armor prevents Goodra from being struck by a critical hit that would go through defense boosts. A tera type of Water gives Goodra very few weaknesses. Acid Armor raises defense, and unlike Shelter (nerfed in SV), it has 32 PP instead of a measly 16. Body Press takes Goodra's high defense into an offensive tool used to take out opposing Pokemon. Rest allows Goodra to heal itself, as it has no other means of doing so. Sleep Talk allows you to potentially either raise defense while asleep or use a Body Press.

Gen 9 Monotype Curse (Dragon)

Goodra-Hisui @ Leftovers / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Shell Armor
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Curse
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Hisuian Goodra is a fantastic addition to Dragon teams in Monotype due to its Steel/Dragon typing, allowing it to be really useful in the Fairy matchup. This is a mono attacking Curse set. Heavy Slam is used for the Steel STAB move since Hisuian Goodra is rather heavy, meaning it will have a high BP most of the time. Curse boosts both of Hisuian Goodra's Attack and Defense stats, making it harder to take out while slowly becoming a scary offensive threat. Rest is used to give Goodra-H recovery and is useful for getting rid of status conditions such as burns. Sleep Talk is used to let Hisuian Goodra move while sleeping so it doesn't become too passive while sleeping. Leftovers is used for a little HP recovery, while Heavy-Duty Boots is used to prevent Hisuian Goodra from being chipped by hazards. Shell Armor is used for the Ability so Hisuian Goodra doesn't have to worry about (unlucky) crits while setting up.

AV Attacker

Goodra-Hisui @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 148 Atk / 56 Def / 56 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Dragon Claw / Dragon Tail
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake

This Goodra set dishes out high amounts of damage with excellent coverage options, though be wary of the lack of recovery options it gets. I would recommend pairing it with Grassy Terrain or Wish support. Assault Vest adds to Goodra's already high special defense, making it an absolute tank. Sap Sipper allows it to switch into Grass attacks and get an attack boost, which can potentially be very useful. A tera type of Water allows you to exploit this, giving Goodra only a weakness to Electric type attacks, which usually come in a special variety. Heavy Slam takes advantage of Goodra's weight, often dealing heavy STAB damage. Dragon Claw is a standard Dragon type attack, but Dragon Tail can be used to force switches, which could pair well with hazards. Fire Punch is coverage, particularly for Corviknight. Earthquake hits other Steel types and Electric types for heavy damage.

S/V Singles/Doubles

Goodra-Hisui @ Leftovers
Ability: Gooey
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 64 SpA / 52 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Flash Cannon
- Protect
- Thunder

Explanation:

Goodra has phenomenal typing, both Defensively and Offensively, wide movepool and a great stat spread making for an almost perfect tank.

Sp. Atk EVs + Modest Nature allow for a Draco Meteor OHKO on common dragons like Hydreigon and Garchomp, and the Max HP + Def EVs allow Goodra to take Super Effective Earthquakes from Garchomp very well (3HKO, I believe). The remaining EVs were put into the Sp. Def stat for even better special bulk.

Flash Cannon is decent Steel STAB, and Protect is great for doubles especially with Leftovers. Thunder is there just for coverage, although this last move can be quite flexible depending on the teams needs.

As for Abilities, Gooey is the best in my option, although all three are potential, but niche options. Even though you Quadruple resist Grass, that immunity Sap Sipper provides could help on a Grass weak team. And Shell Armor could be good for stall teams that are worried about crit fishing

And finally, Goodra's tera type, once again can be flexible. Tera Flying is great for the Ground immunity and Fighting Resist, although Tera Dragon or Steel could be cool too.

Gen 9 (tested in NDM, but could work elsewhere)

Snail (Goodra-Hisui) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Curse
- Heavy Slam
- Dragon Tail / Dragon Claw
- Body Press

Goodra-H is known for standing in the way of many prominent special threats, such as Enamorous, Tran, and the like. However, it has always lacked a certain level of threat in its game; simply Toxic is not enough. This is where Curse comes in. Curse allows Goodra to actually pose a threat to the other team, reminding them that it is not just a passive blob. Heavy Slam is the primary STAB, since Goodra is one hell of a hefty boi. Dragon Tail is a great dragon STAB, as it provides shuffling, which is great on hazard heavy teams, and its negative priority is nonexistent due to Curse already lowering speed. However, Dragon Claw is a slightly more powerful move. Finally, Body Press abuses the Defense boosts gains from Curse, and with Tera Fighting, it can hit for tons of damage. Max HP and SpDef ensures that, with enough Curses, both Defenses would be extremely high, allowing for a successful bludgening session.

Goodra appreciates Fighting types removed so their Close Combats won't come flying about, so mons like Enamorous and Valiant do the trick. Because of its ability, Sap Sipper, Goodra can also benefit from Grass moves aimed towards its teammates, notably Rillaboom's Grassy Glide. A teammate like Greninja should do the trick. Rillaboom itself can also act as a good teammate, as it neuters stray Earthquakes from the likes of Defensive Tusk and Lando. Lastly, Hazard support, while not mandatory, helps make up for Goodra's relatively underwhelming attack along with little invest. It is up to choice whether to use a suicide lead, like Glimmora, or use a bulkier mon, like Ting-Lu.

This Goodra thrives in more offensive teams, as they do appreciate such a tanky Pokemon to fall back on, yet they also appreciate that it itsn't very passive. However, it is not recommended for this Goodra to be used on Hyper Offense, as their fast-paced style means that Goodra would be heavily disrupting the pace that they would normally play at. Goodra doesn't fit on stall, either, as it lacks the longevity needed to be part of the team, especially after it has taken many hits setting up Curses.

Nice, my fav Husuian Pokémon

Role: Special tank
Goodra-Hisui @ Assault Vest
Ability: Shell Armor
Tera Type: Water / Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 SpA
Sassy (If using DTail or KOff) / Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Knock Off / Flash Cannon
- Chilling Water / Surf
- Thunderbolt / Dragon Tail
- Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse

This thing eats special attacks for breakfast while being able to retaliate back with good damage. Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse for STAB, Flash Cannon can also be STAB, but Knock Off is also very good support. The other moves are coverage of your choice.
