What does it say Cosmoem evolves into?
can you upload a photo of the page?
I believe these essential handbooks have had a history of being inaccurate or having weird errors. I had the one that came out around the time of HGSS and, if my memory is correct, there's a particularly well known error where a completely random Pokemon is included in an unrelated evolution line, though the one I always remember is that Drifloon was mislabeled as Drifblim and vice versa.

In these Pokemon Handbooks probably made by Scholastic, they are not very accurate. Some examples may include Ralts not being apart of Kirlia and Gardevoirs line. MandJTV did a whole rant about these handbooks on YouTube when he got them when he’s smaller. Some Trainers also might be incorrect at the start of the book too like I got a Pokemon handbook which they called Blue, “Gary” despite them being completely different people.
