Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Icant think of a better moveset for Shuckle!
Yeah, I can't wait for this guy to get to level 100 so I don't have to use it anymore. I was thinking Power Trick, but then it would have low defensive stats.
In double battles you can use trick room to your advantage, and actually sweep with shuckle! Plus maybe you can give him a focus sash for defending against moves like bullet punch from scizor!
Shuckle (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Def / 176 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Power Share
- Toxic
- Sandstorm
- Mud-Slap
Im the best of the best when it comes to move sets for shuckle you want:

Toxic: inflicts damage every turn
Protect: to stall when poisened
Sandstorm: to deal more damag each turn
stonde edeg/rockslide: in case you need to clean up with shuckle

WHatever you do dont teach it power swap! its terrible! it may switch its attack and defense and give huge attack but shuckle is one of the slowest pokemon of them all!
so it will just about always attack last.
How aboot this. Power trick power split guard split and gyro ball. Lead with a pokemon that knows baton pass and use moves that up attack and defense pass those to shuckle then use power split then power trick and depending on the pokemon guard split then just spam gyro ball to sweep team, you're welcome
I would stick Power Split or Power Share whatever to troll some Charizard X or Mewtwo or  Gyarados or something like that. Shuckle can do Defense Curl Rollout combo which combined with Power Split means that is one nasty Rollout. Add Rest and Shuckle will destroy everything! OR you could do a Contrary Shell Smash then Power Split rendering sweepers even MORE useless while making Shuckle beyond defensive! OR you could run a Trick Room Shuckle with Power Trick which will turn Shuckle into the ABSOULUTE SWEEPIEST SWEEPER OF ALL TIME!!! AND he has Infestation plus Toxic. Shuckle should be Uber. The peeps at Smogon must've forgoten about Shuckle.

Shuckle
Item:Leftovers
Nature:Sassy
IV's:252 HP, 228 Def, 28 Sp Def
Ability: Contrary

Moves:
Shell Smash
Rollout
Rest
Knock Off

Shell smash with contrary will increase defense and special defense
Rollout gains attack power each time it is used
Rest to restore health
And Knock off in case your opponent has Leftovers or any other annoying item

Now if you will excuse me I have to go get 200 bp in order to change my Shuckle's ability.

Didn't see this set

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 200 HP / 52 Def / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Sticky Web
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Infestation
Alright, lemme explain. Lead with it and set hazards. Ideal with a ghost type for a Spinblocker. If you don't have one, try to play around the spinner. Toxic is for Chansey and such. Infestation is for further annoyance. This guy can take out a Dragonite with Toxic + Infestation. Incredibly fun set to use. Anyway, have fun with it!

Hope this set brings victory to many!

Ahhhhhh Shuckle, my best friend indeed. If you want a stalling Pokemon, here is the master staller.

Shuckle @Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Calm (+SDef -Atk)
EV's: 252 SDef, 252 Def, 4 HP

Double team: The best evader. This guy can take plenty of hits up until he sets up enough double teams to avoid most attacks.
Toxic: It's toxic, why else would I want it? Great stalling move
Mud-slap: It's the only counter to steel types. This move is weak, but it still takes care of steel types slowly but surely. It also lowers opponents accuracy making this guy even more epic.
Rest: Just when your opponent thinks he can beat you.....

Shuckle
Item:Leftovers
Nature:Sassy
IVs:108 hp, 200 def, 200 sp def
Ability:Sturdy

Moves:
Toxic
Substitute
Rest
Infestation

Strategy:
First turn use substitute. Then use toxic and infestation until the substitute breaks. Sub again and rest. Rinse and repeat upon waking. (High defence helps if you're asleep when sub breaks)

Shuckle (M) @ chest of berry
Trait: contrary
EVs: 252 sp. Def / 252 Def
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- shell smash
- Toxic
- rest
- infestation

This is the best shuckle moveset and if you aren't up against a kyogre with origin pulse, you ain't loosing with this set. Start off with toxic and the use as many shell smash's as you can until you''re low health. Because of contrary you will be raising your defense and sp. Defense while lowering your other stats that don't matter. When you are low on health use rest then instantly wake up because of the chest of berry. These extra moves will be enough to pull of the last couple shell smashes. Once you have Max def and sp. Def use infestation and toxic to stall everyone and use rest when you are low. Nothing can kill you faster than you can wake up.

The best moveset I could figure out was this:
Ability: Contrary
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SDef
Shell Smash
Infestation
Toxic
Rest/Encore
Contrary ability + shell smash + leftovers makes Shuckle almost impossible to kill, while toxic and infestation can knock out most Pokemon in 3-5 turns. Rest is great recovery for Shuckle but encore can stop Pokemon from setting up on you.

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Shell Smash
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Toxic

Shell Smash - Boosts both defenses with contrary.
Rest - For recovery.
Sleep talk - Allows you to get another shell smash or toxic whilst asleep from rest.
Toxic - For damage to enemy Pokemon.

Ability: contrary
Item: chesto berry

Moveset:

full deffense and special deffense.

This is a set I use against my friend that may not be greatest ever, I think it's a good, not just because I came up with (there is 7 billion people on this Earth so if you want to complain about coming up with it "first" go ahead)

Nickname: Unkown(I forgot and I'm too lazy to look)
Item:leftovers
Nature: sassy or relaxed
Ev: Max hp, half and half for Defense and Special Defense
IV: try to get all but speed in for your Shuckle
Ability: not contrary
Moves
Gyro Ball
Double Team
Power Split
Bug Bite/Dig/Earthquake/Rock Slide/ Stone Edge etc.

First you double team like hell, since you won't be hit by anything except for 100% accuracy moves. (I recommend adleast 4, max at best) then power split which will give you an apponents attack/sp. attack which can be used for the other moves like gyro ball (godly on shuckle) which is why you should have it. I personally recommend Rock slide, though it may not flinch, it's more accurate than stone edge. So have fun killing you friends arceus with a damn shuckle. REMEMBER: Don't Fuckle with Shuckle
(I have only used this in rotation, triple and double battles, not sure how good in single)

Here is a nice support set. It will sound weird, but will be good in the end. This one I currently will show you is for Blissey. That way, I can have the greatest tank sweeper ever. You can tamper with the set to boost your other tanks defense insanely high.

TARGET [email protected] Helmet (doesn't even matter)
Nature: Bold/Relaxed (boost def or sp.def without hindering the other)
IV's: HP, Def, Sp. Def (these are the only ones that matter)
Ability: Sturdy
Moves:
Guard Split
Toxic
Acupressure
Mud-Slap (if they even let you live long enough to use any other move then Guard Split.

If it ain't obvious, hit your tank with Guard Split, and start eating up Hyper Beams. Then mess with the other moves

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Shell Smash
- Bind

Toxic and Bind damage can really add up to faint the opponent. Meanwhile, Shuckle can set up hazards with Stealth Rock, and increase its already insane defenses with Contrary Shell Smash.

Can't believe no one posted my world famous since ORAS (not actually world famous) Shuckle destroyer set for Battle Spot/Battle Mansion (haven't tested Battle Tree) :P

Caparazz(Shuckle)@Binding Band/Chesto Berry/Grip Claw/Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy/Contrary (mind games, once had a poor dude use sweet sent on me. Twice! Then he was like "oh, no, Contrary!)
Nature: Bold/Relaxed/Calm/Impish/any other +Def/S Def -not Def/S Def
EV: 252 Hp, 128 Def, 128 S Def
- Bind
- Toxic
- Infestation
- Rest
Nuff Said. (I acknowledge this has flaws/can fail, but I've had it succeed a lot. Shuckle is one of my favorite Gen 2 Pokemon, so treat his sets well, please) (Don't ask why it is called Caparazz).

Shuckle @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 Def/252 Sp. Def/4 HP
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spe)
Ability: Contrary
Sticky Web
Stealth Rock
Rock Polish
Gyro Ball
Basically, Shuckle gets down Sticky Web and Stealth Rock, then raise its Speed with Rock Polish. This doesn't really matter, as it's the slowest Pokémon, but it allows Gyro Ball to do more damage. Shell Smash would harshly lower its Attack, defeating the purpose.

Shuckle Strategy:

Uh...this is my first ever time trying something like this; sry if my opinion is questionable. Lol. Ok, so...i want to train a Shuckle for the Vgc Pkmn World Championships in the Master Division. I really believe that Shuckle's true potential can take him that far...as well as other Pokemon who deserves a Champion's shine. With that bein' said...my strategy for Shuckle would be this:

Shuckle:

Ability: Sturdy
Item: Leftovers/Quick Claw
Nature: Calm/Bold
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Def/ 252 Sp.Def

Moves:
Infestation
Power Split
Stealth Rock
Sticky Web

Now, I don't really know the logic about Pokemon competitive play...so if this Shuckle is bad, then I'm sry. At least, I tried. Anyways, here are the reasons why I think this Shuckle could be good:

First off, I know that the only move, Shuckle has is Infestation. But, the reason why it has that is cuz to not only avoiding "Taunters", but, to also troll a lot of Pokemon, so that, your teammate can either: cripple em' or destroy em', when they're trapped in Infestation.

Stealth Rock and Sticky Web are obvious choices for Shuckle. I couldn't really decide between the two, so I just put both of them in. That way, in case some "Rapid Spinner" gets rid of one status, Shuckle can just bring the other one in, just to possibly sucker the opponent into using Rapid Spin multiple times. If you get both statuses in, then: #1: Thank the RNG gods and Shuckle. #2: Get rid of the "Rapid Spinner"!

Shuckle's last move: Power Split...was a very odd choice that I added, but, when I researched its usefulness, I realized that it could be extremely powerful to use.(i hope.)

Just to give an example of what it do, here are the kinds of Pokemon that Shuckle could severely cripple with Power Split(*Also, on a sidenote, if you're the kind of ballsy person to go to the Extreme, then, make sure you use Trick Room for some, if not all, of these "big bois"!):

Kartana
Slaking
Aegislash(Blade Form)
Buzzwole
Pheromosa
Salamence
Metagross(Without Bullet Punch)
Dragonite
Tyranitar
Dhelmise
Stakataka
Scizor(Without Bullet Punch)
Garchomp
Tapu Bulu
Gallade
Tapu Koko
Arcanine
Snorlax
Celesteela
*Guzzlord
and etc.

This, can also work against Pokemon with Sp.Atk, although, this is slightly more dangerous:

Xurkitree
Blacephalon
Magnezone
Tapu Lele
and etc.
(This is not 100% guaranteed. I just want to give Shuckle every opportunity possible.)

Now, when it comes to Shuckle's items and stats:
Maximum defences possible. No Speed. No Attack. No Sp.Atk.(Unless if you want to raise the chip damage for Infestation, a little bit.) Nothing. For items: Leftovers may help Shuckle use its Sturdy ability again, if you're lucky. Quick Claw is just in case, someone ruins Trick Room for Shuckle or you can pray to the RNG gods again, in case, you troll your opponent again before they troll you.

The only things that could ruin this Shuckle are:
Faster Pokemon
Priority moves
Status conditions
Things that can get rid of Trick Room
and Z-Moves that One-Hit K.O's Shuckle.

I hope this strategy for Shuckle is good for you guys or girls. Make sure to tell me what you think about it! (If I break any rules about typing my opinion, then sry. Like I said: first time I tried this.)

(I don't even know how to post an answer correctly...jeez.)(-_-)

This shuckle has stalled out 70%+ of most teams ive encountered so far
Trait: Contrary
Item: Rock Helmet
EVs: 252 Def and 252 Hp
Bold Nature +def -attack
-Shell Smash
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Infestation
I use infestation instead of toxic cause infestation will hurt poison and steel types and if you get taunted; you can still use infestation cause its an attack move. The rocky helmet insures that physical attackers will hurt themselves till they die. And if a team Pokemon has sand veil it will increase it's special defenses significantly.

Use it in Uber. no kidding.

[email protected]
Trait: Sturdy (because gluttony have a 0.06% of chance of being useful, if target tricks you a berry, but... and contrary will only be PREJUDICIAL)

EVs: 248 HP, 252 Atk, 8 Def
Adamant Nature

Moves:

Accupressure; it's the main move of this set. you will have to use literally 21 accupressures, but once your stats are maxed out, it won't be stopped unless you have a designed counter for it, such as focus sash topsy-turvy malamar.

Power Split; many people begins with their mega. and most mega Pokemon are really powerful. if you strike it on a foe with a very high physical attack, such as mega blaziken or mega mewtwo X, you will get really powerful, and can begin to accupressure.

Rest: you CANNOT leave your HP low. even though shuckle is bulky as hell. rest will bring your HP up to maximum, and leftovers prevides a low cure to heal you up while you are asleep.

Stone Edge: it is your only damage move and is a MUST. if you are maxed out in all stats, all power splited rightly, as I said before, you will not be stopped unless your opponent have a designed counter for it

many epople use this Pokemon alone in their team, but if you really wanna win, you should use this along with other 5 Pokemon. you will become mostly unstoppable.

Impish/Careful Nature
Trait: Sturdy
Item: Custap Berry/Leftovers
EV's: 252 HP/ 128 Defense/ 128 Special Defense

Moves:

Knock Off
Power Split
Sticky Web
Toxic

The purpose of this build is to cripple as many opponents as possible before it faints. It can set up Sticky Web early, and use its other moves to cripple would-be early sweepers, or it can be brought in later to cripple later sweepers.
Sticky Web is shuckle's most useful move. It slows down incoming opponents and lasts until removed by an opponent. Shuckle's low speed means it'll only help shuckle's team, not shuckle itself, though, so it's usually best to use other moves first unless there's a danger of shuckle fainting before its second turn.
Power Split averages the user's attack and special attack with that of the opponent. Because of shuckle's poor attack and special attack, this will approximately halve the opponent's attack and special attack, and increase shuckle's own to the point where it might be able to almost cause moderate damage to something. Power Split will usually be more useful for reducing the opponent's attack and special attack than for increasing shuckle's own though. It can be used to weaken the opponent before shuckle switches out. It can be used to weaken would-be sweepers trying to set up. It can be used to encourage the opponent to switch out after Toxic and/or Sticky Web and/or Knock Off have been used on it. Then the next opponent can enter into the Sticky Web and be poisoned and/or have their item knocked off too.
Knock Off causes an opponent to permanently lose their item and more damage is dealt to opponents with items. Knock Off and Power Split can work together to cripple offensive sweepers carrying Life Orbs or Choice Bands. Knock Off and Toxic can work together to cripple more defensive types of sweepers carrying leftovers.
Toxic causes ever-increasing damage. This shuckle build won't usually be around for long enough for Toxic to accumulate much damage, so this build is most useful if its teammates include annoyers or delayers.
Custap Berry lets shuckle go first if its health is below 25%. This can work well with the sturdy trait when up against legendaries and powerful opponents. Leftovers may work better when fighting more offensively weak opponents though.

Cecilia, Roman derived from Caecilius. Latin derived from caecus, meaning "Blind". Shuckle is blind to all attacks. ^thinks of devistation^ :)
Shuckle
Cecilia(Shuckle) F @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Gluttony
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpD / 4 HP
Impish Nature
- Accupressure
- Power Split
- Rock Slide
- Rest

I LOVE Shuckle. It is one of the most trolly Mons I know. When I'm feeling down, I grab Shuckle and fly to Ubers. Taking Legendary's power with Shuckle's defenses can take out an entire team. This doesn't work as well anywhere else because this depends on powerful Mons in Ubers. It doesn't work in UU and is crippled in OU.

So grab Cecilia and kill the Gods of Ubers!
