Why is roleplay banned on Chat?

I know that roleplay is banned,I just want to know why.What's wrong with it?

It's supposed to be fine if the RP-ing people don't overdo it and clog up the chat. Thing is, it always (or nearly) clogs up the chat, and sometimes gets too lovey-dovey, where Person A kisses Person B, and Person B hugs back...

3.) Seriously though, Role Playing is just downright tedious. I understand it can be fun, which is why we have rooms and limits for it. But some of these role play games are just silly, or possibly even threatening. I've witnessed ones about people murdering and eating each other. RPing degrades chat and makes other users' brain cells die. A lot of people dislike it, so mods and Pm went of mass mahjority of our longer standing users rather than what a few younger users who just want to mess around want.
