When will the forum be up?

I'm seeing 2013 posts about it and I respect that you're busy but IMO 1 year should be enough.
I'm not being rude because im no programmer but if there is a rough guess of when it's done,well i would appreciate you telling me.BTW no one answer this except Pokemaster.

There's always the possibility that it is an abandoned project now… pretty big shame imho, but that's what it seems like to me.

Actually it's not completely a forum. There's no opinion questions / threads allowed, and there are very, very few discussion threads. I'm on Nugget Bridge and it's a lot different from here.

Because we're a community? The DB is unique when compared to any other Pokémon website / forum.

Some projects are just forgotten in the dunes of time though, and looking at how long we haven't been updated on it it only seems logical to me...

Sorry, it's just one of those things that I haven't found the time for. I do really want to do it still.

My plan was to use the same software we use for Q&A, but I ran into a snag with pages with a lot of posts. Actually you can see the problem here on questions with many answers, they take way too long to load. Many forum threads would easily get over 100 posts so it's difficult to manage.
