Can staff force users to change their gravatars?

So, CC made his gravatar a picture of me making cookies.

I don't mind at all LMAO it's funny, but now i'm wondering, for say, if this happened to someone else and they weren't okay with it, what would happen?

I remember seeing this user called "Pahff" or something with an inappropriate grav. That user has been inactive for a while, but then I noticed the grav was gone a couple days later. So I think mods can change them?

yes. they will hold a gun to your head and demand you change it. at that point, you only have two choices... or you could pick the third choice but that's a conversation for another day.

I'm 99% sure I remember hearing that moderators can toggle any user's gravatar on/off.

Mods have access to a checkbox on each person's profile that will let us remove that person's avatar if we so desire. I'm not entirely sure how it works, though.
