Moderators are great but sometimes they aren't very active. So my solution ...

Sifters/micromanagers/(leave better names in comments)!!

they're a class of very active users that anyone can join (from noobs to mods as long as they meet requirements.) they'll probably apply on a thread of sorts .When someone becomes a sifter they can flag profiles that troll or that are duplicates . then the mods have a list of users that are flagged the most flagged at the top .so they can investigate and see if they deserve a ban

Requirements to be a sifter
-Has say for example 110 points(if u reach this in 1 section u can sift in all)
-No criminal history on the site
-Has enough activity on site

It's pretty easy to find trolls/dupes. They can be reported to the PokeBase discord server, and there's usually 1 or more mods online. Also, if this is added, I think 110 points is way too low
I’m pretty sure there is a way to check IPs and see if any are duplicates if you are a mod, effectively nullifying the main purpose of this role. :P
Mods can easily find dupes, as said above. Also, people just post reports on the walls of mods or on the DB Discord server. There's no need for a specific role for this.
I hope this doesnt sound self-centred but im on the database at least 8 hours a day and im pretty good friends with PX. I already do this when PX and Fizz are afk, and directly send it to them. I just copy paste the link and text it to PX. If anyone else is sus about a profile, they can just copy-paste the link on Px's or Fizz's wall, dm them on discord, or tell me and I can relay it to them. In conclusion, i dont see a need when its pretty well taken care of already

I understand that it's not easy to tell, but the mods check here every day, and are already looking for the things you mentioned. It's easy to message us via Discord (or our walls), and the website has systems that make duplicate accounts quite easy to see. I don't think it's necessary to complicate the auth system further with a new role.

An in-built profile reporting system (which is really the crux of your suggestion) is not a bad idea, though we have tried to replicate the effects of that already. It would be nice if we didn't have to use google forms as an intermediary, but it shouldn't be Pokemaster's most urgent priority.

I'll also mention here that I think everybody should have the ability to report/flag users to mods. I don't think there should be a role created specifically to divide people who are allowed to do that and people who aren't.
