Username changes, Summer 2025 [closed]

Question

OMFG is it really happening?! Yes it's been a while but it's time for a new name-change period!

If you would like to change your username, you can do so very soon. As usual this thread is open for a few days before the names can be changed, to give everyone time to see they are coming. You may also wish to post an answer asking for others' opinions on possible names you're considering.

Username changes will open Friday 1st August and close Sunday 3rd.

Username restrictions:

• The maximum number of characters for usernames is 20. This includes all letters, numbers, symbols and spaces.
• Due to technical restrictions these 3 characters cannot be used: @ + /
• Usernames may not contain 'Pokemaster' or any profanity in them.
• Invisible characters (e.g. zero-width spaces) are not allowed. Regular spaces are fine.

You will keep the username you choose for at least another six months (probably a lot longer lol), so ensure that the name you choose is one that you like!

Suggestion: why don’t we leave the username changes open for the foreseeable future, especially if you don’t know when they’ll happen again?

Oh in time!!! Was thinking of coming back after a long time... I wanna change my name from

~BlazeFreeze~ to ~Skirmish~

I once had my name as ~TastyMushroom~ or similar thing, coz of my grav.

Also I could think of a few alternatives (ofc inspired by one piece) such as

• ~SporaSporaNoMi~ or ~MushiMushiNoMi~
• ~Shroomish.D.Spore~

This is SO AWESOME!

This is the first username change time since I joined (I think) and definitely the first one since I actually understood to some extent how the site works. I've been changing my username almost every time I go on the DB to the most random things. When I changed it to "001" (so it would say "user 001" on my page" I kept trying to put in "froggyfrogsock" on the username bar and then getting momentarily nervous when it didn't work. When I changed it to Froggyfrogsock but with scrambled letters, I forgot what my username was, and started freaking out the next time I tried to log in because I couldn't remember it, but then I realized that I could just put in my email.

Thanks for listening (which you probably didn't) to me talk about my endlessly boring experiences with the DB! Hope I was annoying enough!

The actual point of this answer: I decided at the beginning that before the session ends, I'll just make it froggyfrogsock and not change it anymore (or at least until next time!)

Also why can't I change my username unless I'm on the main section?
