Welcome once again to the National Dex OU tour hosted by me, Anchor9. Who will take the crown from Saber?

  • This tournament will play in National Dex OU on the usual showdown server

  • Conduct your battle and post the replay by the deadline. If not, a random player will be chosen to win( there will be flexibility in this depending on the situation).
  • This tournament will be Bo3.

Something to vote on

In your signup post, please vote if you want the tour to be:
1. Single Elimination bo3
2. Double Elimination bo3

Sign-ups

Please read sumwun's guidelines for tournament participation before signing up.

For those interested in signing up, please post an answer below. Your answer should include your Pokemon Showdown username, your time zone, and what hours and days you will be available to battle normally. As an example of how to sign up:

Showdown Username: Anchor9
Time Zone: GMT -5 (Central Standard Time)
Availability: Generally on Thursdays and Fridays 5-9 P.M. or all Saturday

Sign-ups will close on Sunday, July 5 around 10 P.M. -5 and the first round will be posted within 24-hours of signups closing.

Use a time zone converter to help you decide battle times.

Good luck to all participants and I can’t wait to see who wins!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I'm going to be using a team I posted on RMT, would I be able to play open teamsheet against everyone else
And thank you Zyles for your encouragement
i wanna do this but im gonna be in Malaysia soon :(
Thanks, but I have run dozens of tours. I’m well accustomed to how these things work Froggyfrogsock. Ax109, if you use a known team that’s up to you, but it will just make it easier to beat you. No one else is obligated to use open teamsheets to accustom you.
Alright, I'll just rely on the honor system that people won't make decisions based on my team

Forgot if I'm meant to comment or post this on your wall, but I wound up winning the first two matchups.

Good luck to everyone else on the tournament!
Feel free to do your way if you prefer, but I like re-posting the answer on new rounds so it bumps the thread on the main page as well. Can also put Round 2 in the title.
Can I sub in losers if it's fine or it's too late
Sure.

Mostly posting this ahead of time, but could you manage to play tomorrow morning?
I should be able to, what time were you thinking?
I'll be available at 11:30 am. Any time around then can probably suffice for me, so whatever you prefer.
That sounds good, might be a bit later but I should be on around then.
Bit late, I apologize, does this still work for you?
Yup, I'll be on in a second

You should look at my latest idea in the tournament suggestions thread
Lol I tried that a few days ago and rolled Gen 1 Bug types. Luck is not on my side.
Did you get Attack as your highest stat? Mega Beedrill and Eviolite Scyther would be pretty good. And you could have parasect for electric coverage.

Edit: If you got Special defense you get to reroll.

Also none of this counts for you if the tourney ever actually happens btw but you probably already know that

Im going to get so cooked I turn into char and then the char is going to get so cooked it turns into dust and the dust will get so cooked the air turns black. Anyway

Showdown Username: R-the-greater
Time Zone: AMC (American central time)

Will the air then get cooked so much that it expands to the point of being the size of the universe, destroying the universe and ripping its boundaries, thus tearing all matter previously within the universe into infinitesimal particles due to the expansion of all matter and therefore all gravity outwards into nonexistence?

And the the particles themselves will burn and nothing in the material plane will exist.

And then the nonexistence will catch on fire...
Yeah im that bad
says the one who got 1000 points in their first week thanks to their skill at competitive.
I got 1k in a week cause I know VGC. I’ve barely ever touched singles
oh. well I play singles but I play Ubers and AG so I have no idea what I'm doing.
Would you be available sometime on Wednesday or around 4 PM your time on Friday? Or let me know if there's a better time for you
