Rockruff is a Rock type Pokémon introduced in Generation 7.

Rockruff has an excellent sense of smell, and once it has smelled an odor, it doesn’t forget it! There are tales of these Pokémon getting separated from their Trainers, then using the faintest traces of their scent to track them for days until they are reunited!

Rockruff evolves into one of three Lycanroc forms:

• Midday Form, when evolved during the day (Pokémon Sun/Ultra Sun in Generation 7, or any game from Gen 8 onward).
• Midnight Form, when evolved during the night (Pokémon Moon/Ultra Moon in Generation 7, or any game from Gen 8 onward).
• Dusk Form, when a special event Rockruff (with the Own Tempo ability) is evolved during dusk (5-6pm in Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, or 7-8pm from Gen 8 onward).
