Effects
Double-Edge deals damage, but the user receives 1⁄3 of the damage it inflicted in recoil. In other words, if the attack does 90 HP damage to the opponent, the user will lose 30 HP.
Changes
- In Generation 1, Double-Edge has 100 base power.
- In Generations 1-2, the recoil is 1⁄4 of the damage inflicted.
Z-Move effects
When a Pokémon is holding Normalium Z and uses its Z-Power, Double-Edge turns into Breakneck Blitz and has base power 190.
