Gen 9
Krookodile (M) @ Mirror Herb
Ability: Moxie
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swagger
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Thunder Fang / Fire Fang

Mirror Herb is good setup steal (opponent uses swords dance, agility, etc) or can be used with swagger for a free +2 Atk. Tera Ground to get rid of pesky fighting and fairy weakness, and also even stronger Earthquake. Thunder Fang for Water coverage, or Fire Fang for Grass coverage.
Jolly to prioritize Speed since we’re getting free Atk boosts.

Krookodile/Life Orb/Loaded Dice.
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Intimidate/Moxie.
Tera Type: Dragon Or Poison
252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4HP.
Moveset
Scale Shot/Dragon Tail/Outrage.
Sludge Bomb/Gunk Shot/Swagger.
Rock Slide/Stone Edge/Grass Knot.
Power Trip/Earthquake/Foul Play.
Thunder Fang/Fire Fang/Ice Fang.
Crunch/Protect.

The Moves in Bold are the moveset I chose, I Went with Intimidate for doubles.
If Singles I'd pick Moxie, & I'd also go with this Moveset.
Covert Cloak Held Item Or Mirror Herb.
- Parting Shot
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake
- Power Trip

Dragon Tail Fazes out Pokemon Setting Up, has a good niche if rocks are up.
Earthquake is Stab.
Power Trip is Stab,Even better when Moxie has Activated.
Protect , Well why not.

Why Power Trip when you have Crunch?
Protect isn't really as useful in Singles unless you're stalling or using WishProtect. Grass Knot? Sludge Bomb? Also, Dragon Tail isn't doing much and you're probably gonna die before you even land it because of its negative priority.
Ferrari, I went with power trip as in singles I'd use the Moxie ability.
& mee dragon Tail is useful if your facing a slower pokemon setting up.
Power Trip is extremely weak, and even if you get a Moxie boost, it would still be very weak unless you get around three kills, which is still 80 BP. Dragon Tail is still extremely situational too.

sigh fine I'll give it to you- the best krookodile moveset for battling

Krookodile @focus sash
Ability: Moxie
EV's: 252 spe&atk
Nature: Jolly
Moveset:
-Scale shot
-Earthquake
-Rock slide
-Crunch

This Pokemon is made to be a reliable but strong sweeper- here is the moveset explination
Scale shot is for either medium health dragons, or any low hp Pokemon, the move raises your speed so you should be able to outspeed almost every Pokemon that hasnt been buffed, try to use it at least once, also it wont confuse you and you wont be locked in in case they swap to (god forbid) fairy or even steel or something similar.
Earthquake is stab and has a ton of super effectives
Rock slide can counter flying and ice and is a generally good move(flinch can save your life)
Crunch is also stab and can counter ghosts and psychics

Scale shot Krookodile:

Krookodile @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Scale Shot
- Earthquake
- Throat Chop / Crunch
- Stone Edge / Rock slide

I understand that Krookodile is a goat that sometimes lacks speed, and there aren’t really any speed items to help it, so scale shot is my go-to. Loaded dice allows you to hit scale shot atleast 4 times, maximum 5. It only does 25 power each hit with no boost. It also gives you a speed boost but lowers defense, so I recommend you use it to finish off the opponent so you’ll get the moxie + speed boost. And then once you get enough moxies you can use scale shot however many times you want :D. Earthquake is for simple coverage + stab. You could switch out throat chop for crunch which is probably for the better. Stone edge for big flying type damage, maybe enough to one tap skarmory. You might can use rock slide in double battles but you have to worry about accuracy.
