Likely tier: Borderlne
Incase of wall or other pokemon like azelf with nasty plot:

252 HP 252 Sp Def 4 Def
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold (+Def -Atk)
Hex
Will-O-Wisp
Haze
Trick-Room

the will o wisp will help with the damage being lowered, with the added double damage with STAB
Trick room allows you to switch out to pokemon like HA shuckle, so you can shell smash first for a few turns, while haze can dismantle walls like blissey.

Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Toxic Spikes
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex/Shadow Ball

T-Spikes Cofagrigus is a really underrated set that can work well on semistall/balance teams. His good bulk allows him to easily get T-Spikes up, and he can heal his health back using pain split, which also cuts the opponents health when used at the right time. WoW allows him to weaken physical attackers futher, and makes common SR leads such as Lando-T and Garchomp afraid to stay in, while also being able to status mons unaffected by T-Spikes. Hex works well with WoW and T-Spikes, while Shadoe ball can be used in case you need the extra damage on something like Heatran or T-Flame. This set is best paired with a wishpasser, as Cofag lacks a way to reliably recover.

Cofagrigus @sitrus berry
ability: Mummy
Evs: 252 def/ 252 spD
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split
-Hex
-Trick Room/protect

I usually run this with a kelfki prankster that way I can throw out a status move and hex right away if I need to. Usually try to burn the other guys out with this setup while throwing some offensive. Works really well with my team.

Cleo (Cofagrigus) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic Spikes
- Pain Split
- Night Shade
- Infestation

Infestation covers Dark types and traps most Pokemon, plus the 1/16 damage is a nice bonus. Pain Split lets you heal up along with your Leftovers if you're in a pinch. Toxic Spikes for trapping switch-ins, of course. Finally, Night Shade so you have a steady 100 HP damage against most opponents.

I've used this one for a while with my Cofagrigus, and it's worked great.

Ability-Mummy, Item-Spell Tag, Evs in Defense, Special Defense and Special Attack. It has a lonely nature, but I ignore that.

Moves:
1. Will-o-wisp- burns opponent and halves attack. Combined with its high defense makes it very hard to take down.
2. Hex- Good STAB move and combined with burn doubles it. Covers Ghost Weakness.
3. Destiny Bond- If I think the opponent will kill me, then if I burn, you burn with me.
4. Shadow Ball/Calm Mind- Shadow Ball is a good STAB move if you can't burn the opponent, therefore not getting the Hex boost. It also can cover Ghost weakness.
Calm Mind boosts Sp. A for a stronger Hex, and raises Sp. D, so with burn lowering Attack and this raising Sp. Defense, you're pretty solid. Then again, if someone manages to break through, you could probably get off a DB right before they kill you.

Cofagrigus (M/F) @ Ghostium Z
Trait: Mummy
EVs: 248 HP / 32 Def / 228 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Curse
kills them in 4-5 turns
- Mean Look/ Infestation
Use in case its not their last Pokemon.
Infestation does more damage, killing them quicker, and bypasses magic bounce, but they will be able to switch after 4-5 turns.
- Heal Block
The opponent can easily stall turns if he has a healing move, since its only a ¼ of their health (or ⅜ with infestation), so blocking it is necessary.
- Rest
A healing move which removes status conditions.

Z-Curse fully heals you, before afflicting the curse, in case you already took damage, plus you can heal yourself fully if you have already cursed the opponent, so the loos of health will fail, but you'll still get the full heal.
I prefer a Z-crystal because it cant get knocked off (meaning it wont be a 98 super-effective move, only 65), or get tricked/switcharood (meaning a choice user will be stuck doing nothing, while losing health to curse).

Cofagrigus is one of my favorites of all time!

Cofagrigus @ Lum berry

Ability: Mummy (of course!)
Nature: Bold
EVs: Max out HP, then either Sp. Defense or Speed (cause he isn't the fastest...)

Will-o-wisp: Takes out the target's health over time and cuts Attack in half
Hex: STAB and powered up by Will-o-wisp
Energy Ball: Great coverage (plus the lowered Sp. Defense will help it and Hex)
This last slot is debatable, but use it for recovery. The best bet is Rest, but Cofagrigus' low speed would let it die is used to late.

If this was helpful, please let me know! If something was off for you, tell me what you would change!

Behold! The Status protecting wall! This Cofagrigous is designed to aid Pokemon of all kinds, frail Pokemon, Pokemon with exploitable weaknesses, and etc, in double/ triple battles.

Nature: Bold/ Calm
Evs: 252 def, 252 sdef, 6 hp
Item: Choice is yours

Ally Switch: To take hits for Pokemon that can be OHKO'd and to disable troublesome abilities.

Crafty Shield: Reason here

Mist: To help your physical attackers recover from Intimidate.

Snatch: To steal barriers or stat boosts Coffy( yes, I just called him that) can benefit from.

Hope you like it : )

Here's what I like the call, The Inescapable Death set

  • Leftovers
  • Bold Nature 252 DEF and SDEF

  • Calm Mind

  • Mean Look
  • Protect
  • Curse

Make sure you get a good start with Calm mind(use mean look first or wait till your buffed enough that you feel safe with calm mind). Hit em with a curse and protect and let left overs do their job. This set is prefered to be used on teams on competitive that are almost all dead (so don't try pulling it out first turn). VERY IMPORTANT INFO: try to only use this on slower targets ( as it's kinda slow and you'd wanna try to have a teammate to use sticky web, This set relies on the team work of it's teammates but can work by itself). You can replace some moves if you want

Well...my DEATH GRIP plays the role of physical wall! And trust me many can't get out of his grip!

Nature: rash(+sp.atk,-sp.def)
Ev: 252 def,252 SP.atk

Note: you have to confirm that the for doesn't have a great sp.atk

Moves:
1)MEAN LOOK: Can't get out of his grip, huh?
2)TOXIC: Obvious
3)HEX: Obviously obvious
4)DISABLE: In case the opponent uses a dark physical attack like crunch..etc

Have you Tried a Cofagrigus lead?
252 HP 252 SpDef +SpDef -Spe
Item: Leftovers/ Sitrus Berry/ Quick Claw
-Toxic Spikes
-Trick Room
-Destiny Bond
-Haze
Trick Room allows it to go first, as well as give other slow Pokémon a chance. You can then proceed to Toxic Spike once or twice, then Destiny Bond to take out a Pokémon for free. Haze just stops anyone from setting up, so it will die, but if you do a good prediction, you should be able to get full Toxic Spikes, a turn of Trick Room for another Pokémon, and one of their Pokémon taken down

Trick Room-for Cofagrigus' low Speed
Nasty Plot-raise Sp.Atk

Cofagrigus @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Mummy
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Def / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Body Press
- Hex
- Trick Room
- Will-O-Wisp

This is a bit more built towards VGC, but here it is anyway

Cofagrigus
Showdown: National Dex
Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
Explanation: Setup with Calm Mind, which raises both Special Attack and Special Defense. Substitute is to help setup Calm Mind. Shadow Ball is a good STAB move, and after 1 Calm Mind, it can OHKO enemy Cofagrigus. HP Fighting is to deal with Dark and Normal Types.

Now this is different. I see a lot of hidden ability blaziken (speed boost) with protect. And yea, it’s OP, being able to deal MASSIVE damage, whilst out speeding is very good. Here is my counter to it.
Evs: def 252 HP 252
Ability: mummy (very useful)
Item: leftovers
Nature: literally anything that boostes def, preferably bold (-atk +def)
-haze
-mean look
-protect
-Curse
On the first turn, you curse, this’ll cripple it, and most blaziken strategies are protecting the first turn, and curse just so happens to go through protect.
Every 2nd turn, you protect. This’ll give you some health back (because of leftovers), and on the second turn, you’ll have an 8th of your health back already.
Mean look, in case your opponent decides to switch, and cofagrigus already has high def, so no need to panic if you’re worried you won’t tank a hit.
Haze, always think of the worst that can happen, and they DO kill cofagrigus, so haze, then bring in your fire / fighting counter safely; they won’t have speed boost anymore, because —this is where the ability comes in— it’s ability becomes mummy, due to COFAGRIGUS’s ability.
Hope this helps
