Should I add Swampert or Tyranitar to My team?

I am playing Ultra Moon, and I need a Rock, Ground, or Water type Pokemon to beat totem Marowak with, but I don't know which one to add.

If this is to just counteract the Totem, I'd go with Tyranitar because it resists Totem Marowak's typings of Fire and Ghost as well as its ally, Salazzle's typings of Fire and Poison.

The Marowak knows brick break, so I would suggest using Swampert. Swampert is also better than Tyranitar in general because it has less weaknesses and takes less experience to level up.

Why not add or use both? You don't have to stick to only six pokemons, in generation six and seven is even easier. If you aquaited with training only six, just make a team of seven. If you are more advance, you can even specify what everyone of them will do in that particular battle. Have a nice day!

Some people like having smaller teams so each Pokemon gets more experience and they don't have to use the PC as often.

If you have to pick one, then use Swampert because the Marowak knows brick break. Swampert is also better than Tyranitar in general because it has less weaknesses and requires less experience to level up.
