I preferably want a way of soft locking yourself in each Pokémon games so I could think of how to undo it for fun!!?
And maybe in spin off games as well like ranger. The games can be on game boy to whatever stadium was on to the 3ds and the switch with Pokémon quest, and maybe let’s go.

closed with the note: Very trivial and finding an answer would take too much work for what it's worth.

You can find plenty of guides online on how to perform softlocks and get out of them. The article is incomplete on Bulbapedia but it's a good place to start: https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Game_freeze#.22Softlocking.22
I'm putting this as a comment and not an answer because the link isn't a full answer, and to perform softlocks you oftentimes have to hack the game, which I don't think we can openly discuss here.
What about that glitch in the Ultra games (requires an old version of the game) when you're on that Ditto mission and a guy runs up to you, but since you are in the way he just keeps running aimlessly.
In DPPt, it’s possible to become permanently trapped on an island on Route 226. See the trivia section here: https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sinnoh_Route_226
in rby, you can trap yourself on cinnabar island with some setup. I look at Pikasprey Yellow for these, he has several videos
By "softlock", do you mean making the game completely unresponsive, or making the player stuck somewhere or in some situation but still able to press buttons?
I asked a clarifying question, and the Ollie person didn't answer it.
Softlock means the latter by definition, so we'll go with that.
Bulbapedia says a softlock is when the game becomes completely unresponsive to buttons.

Pikaspary does some
Okay, then go with that if you like @sumwun.
Yeah there are many ways of doing so I will tag the video down underneath.
