So basically I heard about this item that allowed Pokemon to Gigantamax if it has potential, it is known as the max soup. does anyone know if it is an item you use on a Pokemon like the N-Lunarizer, or is it that you have to give it to a Pokemon.

if it is a given item would it really have too good of a competitive advantage considering the move knock off, thanks in advance.

Editor edit: Please don't answer the question until after the DLC releases. "We don't know." and "I'm guessing." are not answers.

We don't know because the DLC hasn't released.
If you don't know, why are you answering?
Because nobody can give a different answer.
They can give a different answer after the DLC releases.
But this question was asked nearly 2 weeks before the dlc will be released.
That still doesn't stop this question from being answered later
I don’t really see many normal questions (non team or moveset questions) being answered a long time after they’ve been asked.
that doesn't mean it's literally impossible to answer it later
and people answer questions on the unanswered tab months after they have been asked
I think almost half of my answers are on questions that were unanswered for more than a month.
They didn't say something about that in the trailer. But there is high chance that you give it not as a held item. Cause it alows a Pokemon that can gigantamax but not can to gigantamax forever.
From the video [here][1], I have come to the conclusion that it is an item that you use on a Pokemon like the potion or others, but I am only guessing.

how can you make an answer if you dont actually know?
It just came out, so...
...that's exactly why it has an answer.

Max Soup is a consumable item usable on a Pokemon that is able to Gigantamax. Max Soup is given by an NPC in the Fighting Dojo after given Max Mushrooms.

Hope this helped!
