Transferring a Pokémon with a hidden ability to gen 4?

Question

If I breed an Eevee with it’s hidden ability, evolve it into an Espeon , then transfer it to HeartGold, will it still keep it’s hidden ability? I just wanted to make sure.

Only gen 3 and gen 4 games can transfer or trade Pokemon to HG.

A Hidden Ability (Japanese: 隠れ特性 Hidden Ability) is a type of Ability slot introduced in Generation V.

Gens 3 and 4 were before 5, so hidden abilities don't exist in those generations. Thus, it's impossible to transfer a Pokemon with a hidden ability to HG.

Hidden abilities were introduced in Genaration 5. Hence, it is impossible to obtain an Espeon with hidden ability. And you can only transfer a Pokémon with a normal ability. If you do this in generations after 5, you can simply perform this.

Hidden Abilities didn't exist until Gen 5.
Therefore you cannot get a HA Eevee or Espeon until Gen 5 or later.

Hidden Abilities were introduced in Generation V; they are relatively rare and usually require some type of special encounter.

Hidden abilities didn't exist until Gen 5. HeartGold is a Gen 4 game. You cannot transfer a Pokemon from Gen 5 to Gen 4. Sorry.
