Interesting how I used Facade. It's like I was predicting Guts.
Flareon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Nitro Charge
- Substitute
- Wish
- Baton Pass
I think Fire Fang would be better, since Flareon normally has low Special Attack and good attack.
Dig is good, but the point of Facade is that it should be used when the user has a status condition. Still, I guess that's good enough. Judging by the rest of Flareon's moveset though, I think Toxic seems a little out of place, since this Flareon looks kind of like it's a Sweeper. Maybe Iron Tail to replace Dig, though. That way, you will have a defense against Rock Types, and your opponent would just switch pokemon if you used Dig and they were worth fighting.
Best. Flareon Moveset. Ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6yC1qO7Hzo
What even is Nitro Charge? It's not a move according to Pokebase.
It was likely before the English was released. I belive that's flame charge
Oh. Okay, thanks.

Who the heck says Flareon is horrible, its not at all in fact if you have the right moves for it then you may win battles but in this set, I have onley used it on a eeveelution team.......but I think it may work in regular battles (as long as you are in the perfect time to place this eeveelution) then I think it would work

WARNING: Only send out Flareon if you are surrounded by Toxic Spikes or if you think your opponent is about to use a move that either causes Paralysis or Poison!

Oh, and for this set would go well with the help of a Speed Boost and Swords Dance Ninjask with a Focus Sash would help Flareon alot more!

Flareon @ Weakness Policy
Nature: Careful
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 SDef and 4 HP
Moveset:
-Flareblitz
-WilO-Wisp
-Facade/Return
-Bite

Eh, not such a bad set for me any how, if Flareon gets hit by a super effective move, have no fear the weakness policy is here! The Weakness policy will at least help it with its attack by raiseing it by 2 stages but it also raises Sp.Atk by 2 stages too....anyway, Flareblitz is for STAB but has a big recoil though. Like what ~-~WILL~-~ said, WilO-Wisp would make Flareon have 120 Defense if you look at it that way since burns cause a Attack drop (unless the opponent has Guts too...). When Flareon has a status problem you know Facade is dangerous, right? ecspecialy with all that Attack stat. Bite has a chance of Flinching, not really powerful like Fire Fang, To bad it can't learn Crunch.

This set sucks

My Flareon set is designed to cripple the enemy with force and flames.

EV Spread: 252 Attack/252 HP/6 Speed
Ability: Flash Fire
Item: Liechi Berry
Nature: Adamant
Moves:
-Flare Blitz (A very powerful STAB move that will be boosted with any incoming Fire Attacks and if it is a yellow or red health, the Liechi Berry will boost all of its attacks)
-Superpower (A strong move to cover against other types, mind the recoil though)
-Iron Tail (This is also for coverage, and you'll be sure to end whatever opposes Flareon if this move lowers their Defense)
-Will-O-Wisp (Because of Flareon's low Defense, it needs a move that can cut the damage it takes as well as doing damage to the enemy. It's recommended you use this move the first turn any enemy Pokemon comes out)

Revenge Killer
Ability: Flash fire
Item: Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Nature: Jolly/Adamant (Jolly is more recommended)
Moves:
Flare Blitz
Super Power
Double-Edge
Sleep talk/Yawn

Flareon makes a surprisingly decent revenge killer, and fast attacker, thanks to choice scarf. For those of you wondering, I gave Flareon sleep talk in case he had to switch in to a sleep inducing move. Yawn is fun to use, and can be pretty annoying for your opponent to deal with. As they have the choice to either switch or stay in, which you can use to your advantage.

Flareon (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Atk
Nature: Impish

-Flare Blitz
-Wish
-Curse
-Protect

I think if you EV train with the right nature, being +SpA, -Atk (yes you saw that right) you can make a special attacking beast. Here is the moveset:

Flareon @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 184 HP / 68 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Quick Attack
- Will-O-Wisp

I hope you will give this a chance in battling. And me, being the great person I am, will tell you how I use it. I open with will-o-wisp to make Flareon a defense beast. Then use fire blast, or shadow ball (depends on the type). And if they didn't faint from the burn, or your attack, use the quick attack.

The eeveelution that Gamefreak neglected...
It is so desperate for better moves, especially a priority physical fire move.

This is how I made mine work for me.

Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
Nature: Adamant
EVs: I think I did max atk, max hp, 4 in def. Something like that...

Moveset:
Flare Blitz- STAB and main attacking move
Facade- works well with guts
Superpower- coverage
Bite/Iron Tail/Dig- your choice of any move really. I chose bite to deal with ghost types, especially Chandelure.

Flareon needed more speed so that's ehy I went for Scarf. I stayed with Guts ability because nearly every team runs toxic and it just takes a little bit of prediction rather than putting toxic orb on it. Basically, just hit with everything you got and switch when needed. The 4th move slot is your choice, Bite worked best for me but I could see something like Iron tail or even Wil-o-Wisp working well.

Flareon @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Facade
- Flame Charge
- Wish
- Iron Tail/Earthquake

Ok lemme explain. Flareon is one fairly hard Pokemon to use, good special moves but mainly good attack, so I'm just gonna say that this is probably a worse set, but it has its good sides.
Guts and toxic orb make a mean combo when paired with facade. Wish is to heal the weakened Flareon. Flame charge, with guts and it's attack, gives it an edge of flare blitze, since it helps the low base 65 speed. Earthquake and Iron Tail are good physical coverage moves for flareon.

Flareon: (F) Ashe
Item: Lum Berry
Ability: Guts
Moveset
Flare Blitz- STAB but also one of the strongest fire moves overall despite recoil, this move is meant to be the "main" attack for this Pokemon.
Work Up- Atk boost when the Flareon ends up alone in a Single or Double Battle.
Superpower- Strong move and very unexpected, mainly meant to counter against rock types and normal beat sticks.
Flame Charge- STAB and speed boosting, while not the strongest move, this will assost in making Flareon a fast and powerful ally to the team.

Strategy- Mainly this Pokemon is supposed to be used in a double battle with someone who know Swagger (Slaking or something), what you wanna do is Swagger the Flareon, boosting attack a lot, Lum Berry removes confusion, Flame Charge with Flareon to boost speed the same turn, upon the next turn Swagger Flareon again to give it a 4 stack ATK boost and from there on you got a powerhouse of a Mon, though the doubpe confusion won't help, the overall strength is worth it when hits land, Guts is meant to boost that 4 stack more if you happen to get Flareon hit with a status move, either by you or your enemy.

Flareon @ Choice Band
ABILITY: Flash Fire
NATURE: Adamant (+Atk -SpAtk)
EVs: 252 Atk/252 SpDef/4 HP

Flare Blitz
Superpower
Double-Edge
Quick Attack

Why do you have special defense ev's? A glass cannon like flareon shoulr not have defensive ev's.
It's not necessarily a glass cannon. Have you *looked* at its special defense?

Then again that doesn't make this set very good...

My moveset for Flareon makes it a monster in ubers in gen 8. Just team it with Galvantula.

Flareon @ Toxic Orb
Guts
252 Atk 252 Speed 6 HP
flare Blitz
Facade
Superpower
Protect

So once Galvantula has the sticky web on the field, bring out Flareon. Then you can either protect so you don't get statused, or if the opponent is slower and on low health, you can dynamax. Use two max knuckles then max flare or another max knuckle if you want. Then take your opponents DOWN!

Flareon @ Choice Band
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Sp Def, 4 HP
Adamant Nature ( + Attack, - Sp Atk)

Fire Fang
Flame Charge
Return
Iron Tail

I really love Flareon, so it’s just a shame that it doesn’t have a good move pool. These are about the best physical moves it gets, so basically use them when you need them.

I based this off of PS btw.

Flareon @ Toxic Orb
Guts/+Def -SpA/252 HP 252 Atk 4 Spe

Facade
Flare Blitz/Fire Fang
Curse
Superpower

I prefer Toxic Orb here bc/ of burn offsetting Guts. You can get a free Curse off while waiting for Orb to activate/opponent switch. Facade is obvious as it gets the Guts boost and Facade boost. Flare Blitz is probably better here as Fire Fang is kinda weak but if you don't want recoil put on Fire Fang. Superpower is awesome rock type coverage.

A Pokemon with Guts doesn't suffer the Attack drop from a burn. Flame Orb is the better choice.

Why are you investing in Speed if you plan on using Curse? I'm not the greatest competitive player, but that seems like a waste of EVs.
Uh X you can't use a Flame Orb on Flareon.
You actually have to run Toxic Orb because Flareon is a fire type. Fire type Pokemon can't get burned.
Oops, forgot that small part. My bad, lol.

Flareon @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Facade/Wish
- Flame Charge
- Yawn
- Curse
This set works best when you are having a teammate that sets up Tailwind, first, use Yawn, then you would put your oppoment to sleep, use Flame Charge to stall one turn and then start using Curse, then use Wish to heal yourself up, then you can spam Flame Charge. This probably a bad set but is kind of funny.

Eevee @ Eevium Z
Ability: Anticipation
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Impish Nature
- Last Resort
- Double Team
- Substitute
- Baton Pass

This set should only be used in AG, because baton pass is banned from Ubers (I think). Substitute first, then Evoboost, Baton Pass in the face of a taunter, or use Double Team and then Baton Pass. The ability Anticipation is to see if the enemy packs Fighting type moves.

Flareon @Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Facade/Superpower/Iron Tail

Flare Blitz is STAB. Facade is Guts-boosted, Superpower or Iron Tail for rock types. Rest heals off Toxic Orb and Flare Blitz damage and is still a status so you get a guts boost

Enjoy :)

Well, Flareon’s Movepool is absolutely terrible, and it’s stats are not a show either. So crippling the opponent is the only option. So I got one that might work...

Flareon @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Hp / 252 Atk / 4 Speed
Jolly Nature
Will-O-Wisp / Toxic - Setup
Fire Fang - STAB
Facade - Coverage
Wish - Recovery

Sprite

The Toxic Orb is to activate Guts, which will massively improve Flareon’s attack stat. While worse then The Flame Orb, Flareon is a fire type, which means it cannot be burned. The 252 EVs in HP is to help it survive the Toxic Orb, and the 252 in attack is to raise it’s attack higher. The 4 in speed is so you can get the first attack. The Jolly nature helps its speed, which on Flareon, is essential.
Will-O-Wisp or Toxic is to cripple the opponent, I would go with Will-O-Wisp, sense it will halve the opposing attack, and with Flareon’s poor defense, you are not gonna get far without it. Fire Fang has STAB boost, and for coverage. Facade is useful do to the Toxic Orb, and combined with Guts, that is one of the only good things about Flareon. And Wish is for recovery, because that is another essential thing for Flareon.
