Kilowattrel @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Weather Ball
- Hurricane
- U-turn

In rain, this thing hits really hard with its dual STAB. LO makes you hit really hard, but HDB can be used to make it not take hazard damage. Thunder and Hurricane have 100 accuracy in rain with STAB and hit really hard. Weather Ball with rain and Tera Water kills Rocks, Grounds, and Fires. Tera Electric and Flying can be used to make Hurricane or Thunder more powerful though. U-Turn is a pivoting move for when rain ends, but Volt Switch is stronger with STAB, however with it, you can't pivot out of Ground types or absorbers. Volt Absorb allows you to take Volt Switches and heal with good prediction. However, its other abilities have good uses: Powering up your Thunder and just making you more threatening are great too. For teammates, Pelipper has a slow U-Turn and sets up rain with Drizzle, so it is the ideal Pokemon for the role. However, other Rain setters can work.

Gen 9 Monotype Choice Specs (Flying)

Kilowattrel @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hurricane
- Air Slash
- U-turn

A Choice Specs set for Flying teams in Gen 9 Monotype. Choice Specs gives Kilowattrel immediate breaking power. Thunderbolt is used for Electric STAB. Hurricane is used for a powerful Flying STAB that is useful early-mid game. Air Slash is used for a more accurate Flying STAB that is useful late game. Air Slash is also used since Kilowattrel doesn't have much, if any coverage options outside of rain teams. U-turn is used for pivoting annd allows Kilowattrel to escape Pokemon who resist your STAB moves. Volt Absorb is used to allow Kilowattrel to serve as the Electric immunity on Flying teams.

Kilowattrel @ Magnet
Ability: Wind Power
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 Spa / 252 Spe / 4 SpD
Timid Nature
-Tailwind
-Roost
-Electro Ball
-Hurricane

First set up tailwind so now very speedy then pair that with Wind Power, Electro Ball and magnet well that speaks for its self. Roost is to last just the bit longer in battle and hurricane if you are in a rain team but any other special flying type move could also work. Tell me if I need to make changes. :-)

Gen 9 Monotype Substitute + Metronome (Flying)

Kilowattrel @ Metronome
Ability: Volt Absorb
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Air Slash
- Discharge / Thunderbolt
- Roost

A Substitute + Metronome set Kilowattrel set can use on Flying teams in Gen 9 Monotype. This set is useful for matchups such as Rain, Poison, Fairy, Fighting, and even Ground teams. Substitute lets Kilowattrel dodge things such as poison and Spore. Kilowattrel can use Substitute against Pokemon who can't do much to it such as Corviknight, Toxapex, Clodsire, and Quagsire. Air Slash is used for the Flying STAB since it has better accuracy than Hurricane and it comes with a 30% chance to flinch. Discharge is used for the chance to paralyze opposing Pokemon and is useful should Kilowattrel forces switches by putting up a Substitute. Thunderbolt can be used instead for a stonger Electric STAB. Roost is used to let Kilowattrel recover HP. Metronome is used since this set using Substitute against passive Pokemon can lead to the Kilowattrel player mindlessly clicking its STAB moves. Volt Absorb is the Ability to allow Flying teams to have an Electric immunity.
