Zoroark or Alolan Ninetales for UltraSun playthrough?

My whole team is level 30 to 38. I found an alolan vulpix lvl 32 and zoroark is the only Pokemon with a type I already have in my team. I'm about to find an ice Stone to get vulpix into ninetales alola.

i dont know a bunch about usum but i did a bit of look on tier list and the pokemon themselves, ninetales usually is rated higher. Zoroark is a great sweeper but alolan ninetales is waay more versatile + a good offensive typing

Ninetales is rated higher on which tier list? It arrives later in the game and has significantly worse special attack  than Zoroark.

I think Zoroark is better than Ninetales, mostly because it can be found and evolved earlier and has higher special attack.

However, if you want a fast special attacker, Oricorio and Charizard are significantly better than both. They learn their special moves earlier than Zorua, they both learn work up, and the Flyinium Z is obtainable earlier than most other Z crystals. Charmander evolves earlier than both Zorua and Vulpix, and Oricorio is already fully evolved when you get it.
