Gen V

Deoxys-Attack @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- ExtremeSpeed
- Psycho Boost
- Thunderbolt / Thunder
- Ice Beam

Special attacker that incorporates classic BoltBeam coverage as well as supreme speed control through ExtremeSpeed. Focus Sash allows Deoxys to survive an attack through its 50 / 20 / 20 bulk. Thunder is preferable on rain teams, and potentially in general depending on the format.

Deoxys-Defense @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 156 HP / 100 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Recover
- Night Shade
- Cosmic Power
- Toxic

Toxic stall set. Cosmic Power + Recover can make Deoxys impossible to take down in some late-game situations. Night Shade decreases its passivity.

Deoxys-Speed @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- ExtremeSpeed
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt

Dedicated lead intended to set hazards on HO teams and prevent the opponent from doing the same. Deoxys-S is particularly good at this due to its high Speed, which lets it Taunt (almost) anything it wants. Focus Sash typically secures at least two layers of hazards.

Try having Toxic or Will-o-wisp
maybe swap night shade with protect on deoxys-d?
I know this is 9 years ago, and knock off wasn't good back then, but i think it could replace extreme speed. Just a suggestion though

My Deoxys-D Moveset:
Deoxys
Deoxys-Defense @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 SpD
Careful Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Psycho Shift
- Night Shade

This is my Deoxys Set, which can only be utilized with Deoxys-Defense only. Rest + Sleep Talk + Psycho Shift makes a deadly combination if used correctly, putting the foe to sleep. If you happen to get Taunted, Night Shade is there to help with that, causing 100 Damage each time. EVs give it 302, 411, 402 Bulk which is very nice to have. Bulky as can be :)

Maybe Psycho Boost.
not very sure.....as it has a nature that lowers s.attack and with psycho boost it will just kill its special attacking ability and wont even be able to help psycho boost...
ooh. was gonna say restalk was a waste of potential, but then I looked at the whole thing. dang, i might use this, great set
Calm nature lowers its attack, not sp. attack

Defense Forme: Gen 9 NU HO Lead

Deoxys-Defense @ Red Card
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Knock Off / Night Shade
- Taunt / Night Shade

A lead dual hazards set that Deoxys-Defense, or DeoD (or Deodorant) can use on Hyper Offense teams in Gen 9 NU. DeoD has the luxury of using a dual hazards lead set in Gen 9 NU due to its bulk and decent speed, which is useful since there aren't other HO leads that can learn both Stealth Rock and Spikes aside from Lead Booster Energy Iron Thorns. Stealth Rock is used for a hazard to chip opposing Pokemon switching in as long as they aren't wearing Heavy-Duty Boots. Spikes is used to chip grounded Pokemon switching in, wearing them down with both Spikes and Stealth Rock up. With DeoD's bulk, you can get all layers of hazards up depending on the opposing team and lead they send out. Knock Off allows DeoD to remove items, which is useful to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from opposing Pokemon so they can take chip damage from hazards. Taunt is useful to stop slower Pokemon such as Swampert from setting up hazards and slower wallbreakers/sweepers from setting up in front of DeoD. Night Shade is an option to deal consisten damage to opposing Pokemon. You can use Night Shade in Knock Off's slot so you can also have Taunt to help wear down slower Pokemon if needed, or in the 4th slot to have both Knock Off and Night Shade. I recommend having Brambleghast on the team with lead DeoD since Brambleghast can spin away any hazards that have got on your side and acts as a spinblocker. Red Card is the preferred item since it forces the opposing Pokemon out should they hit DeoD with an attacking move. You aren't really going to use it most of the time since this is a lead set, but Ghost is the Tera Type so DeoD can become an emergency spinblocker.

Deoxys
Deoxys-Attack @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 128 Atk / 128 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Superpower
- Extreme Speed

This set seriously kicks butt, with Extreme Speed for quick finishing, and Superpower to demolish the opponent...but then you are at risk...

This set usually gets 1 or 2 KOes before it falls to priority or super bulky opponent.
Pretty good
Yeah. Good. 8/10

Well, because deoxys got new event moves, why don't I use them in a set:
enter image description here
Deoxys-Speed @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic / Ice beam
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Blast

This is his setup sweeper set. He will only be outsped (sometimes) by other Deoxys.
Psychic is for STAB. Ice beam is for all of the dragon and flying types in Ubers.

Here is a set I use in Ubers, and I am really, REALLY liking it. It's a team support Deoxys-S. It can take most hits and abuse Trick, or it can Trick on a switch thus allowing it to return with some moves of its own. It's not designed for survival. The design is to screw an opponent's Pokemon and then get hazards up before being killed. Suicide support essentially xD

Deoxys-Speed @ Iron Ball
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Trick
- Superpower

Iron Ball screws the Pokemon, whether it be wall with lefties, or attacker with LO/Choice item. Taunt hits those set-up pokes and the hazard setters such as Dialga and Ferrothorn. Stealth Rocks helps the rest of my team gets KOs. Superpower is just a filler and I normally switch out when taunted anyway.

What ir you encounter a ghost type?
Normally I can still trick Iron Ball to ghost types (not Arceus) and then I'll switch to someone capable of taking them down.

National Dex

Deoxys-Defense @ Leftovers / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 124 SpD / 28 Spe
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Recover
- Knock Off
- Taunt / Teleport

Deoxys-D can provide a nice defensive backbone and a Spiker. Its biggest competition in Mew doesn't have the bulk to take many attacks, especially if it's the suicide lead set. Spikes are for the residual damage. Recover is recovery. Knock Off is for getting rid of items, like getting rid of Heatran's Leftovers, Zapdos's Heavy-Duty Boots, and Ash-Greninja's Choice Specs. Removing the enemy's Leftovers or Boots is great utility for its offensive teammates. Taunt shuts down defensive Pokemon, while Teleport can be used to pivot out of bad matchups and bring in teammates safely.

Deoxys
Deoxys-Speed @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 200 HP / 20 Atk / 100 Def / 100 SpD / 88 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Psycho Shift
- Facade
- Pursuit
- Stealth Rock

Set Stealth Rocks first turn, Then Psycho Shift Poison to the opponent. If they switch, double Pursuit damage. If they don't, double Facade damage. A lot of prediction, though.

Wasted EVs, why improve Bulk when it has terrible Bulk?

Don't go crazy with EVs, because it's not doing you any good :P
This isn't Deoxys-Attack's practically nonexcistent defenses we're talking about here.
When invested in HP, 50 / 90 / 90 are actually not bad.
Umm... that's suitable for Deoxys D... :(

Alright, so I just found out I have the Masuda Deoxys (the one with Nasty Plot) on my Diamond game, so here's a moveset for that:
I chose Speed Forme because Normal Forme and Attack Forme have garbage defenses so they can't set up, and Defense Forme plays a better role at Toxicking, Spike-setting, etc. Speed Forme has decent defenses, so it can set up and fire off nuclear-powered attacks after a Nasty Plot.

Deoxys-Speed @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 HP / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam / Recover / Magic Coat

So here it is. Nasty Plot was the basis of this set, allowing Deoxys to set up. The EVs might seem strange, and indeed, they are, but they are to make sure it has enough bulk to set up a Nasty Plot. I really don't like using a Focus Sash set, as priority is all over the place in Ubers and Talonflame is everywhere in OU. Psychic forgoes the ability to wreck Chansey and Blissey for more power, so if that's what you like then you should probably choose it. Ice Beam can be used for coverage in tandem with Thunderbolt for the classic BoltBeam combo, while Recover is just useful as a move. Magic Coat can act as a surprise for those people who try to status you.

I have unique Deoxys set:

Deoxys-Attack @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Psycho Boost
- Ice Beam
- Taunt

Your normal Deoxys-A is a pure sweeper. However, I thought: Deoxys-A has base 150 speed, so it could function as a lead to! You may be thinking: ¨Deoxys-S is such a better lead, just use him!¨ I have something to say about that: Does Deoxys-S have dual 180 attack stats? No. So, I give you: The lead-sweep Deoxys-A. Half lead, half sweeper.
Stealth Rock allows Deoxys-A to function as a hazard setter. Psycho Boost is insanely powerful STAB. Ice Beam is for coverage against dark types, and because Yveltal is pretty much the only dark type in Ubers, Ice Beam is used.
Taunt is to shut down passive Pokemon such as Chansey, Ferrothorn, and Toxapex.

The EVs are for Deoxys to be as fast and powerful as possible. A Focus Sash is used to be able to live one hit, so he can set up and attack before going down. Pressure is the only ability Deoxys can have. Finally, a Modest Nature is used to hit as hard as possible.

Hope you like this set!

Time for a Cursed Set for Deoxys-Defense

National Dex UU

Deoxys-Defense @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Cosmic Power
- Recover
- Night Shade

This set has been getting some usage in National Dex UU. This set should be sent out against passive Pokemon. Taunt stops opposing Pokemon from Taunting you, inflicting you with with status, etc. Cosmic Power raises both your defense and special defense stat, making you harder to wear down. Recover is used for recovering HP and provides longevity. Night Shade is used for doing chip damage to opposing Pokemon and is used over Seismic Toss because 1. there aren't much viable normal types and 2. Aegislash would otherwise wall you if you have Seismic Toss over Night Shade. Pressure works incredibly well with this set, as it allows you to deplete PP faster. Rocky Helmet is them item to punish physical attackers such as Darkest Lariat Zarude and Surging Strikes Urshifu. 252 HP EVs helps maximize bulk, and 252 Speed EVs are used so you can be able to Taunt slower Pokemon. While this set seems like Taunt fodder, there aren't much viable Taunt users outside of lead Krookodile.

Gen 9 NU Calm Mind/Cosmic Power

Deoxys-Defense @ Grassy Seed / Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Fairy / Poison / Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind / Cosmic Power
- Stored Power
- Taunt / Focus Blast
- Recover

Deoxys-Defense recently dropped to NU (what losing Toxic and the Recover nerf does to it), so here is a Calm Mind or Cosmic Power set it can use there. You can use this either in or outside of Grassy Terrain teams. Calm Mind allows to Deoxys-Defense to boosts its Special Attack and Special Defense stats, allowing it to tank special hits while boosting its offensive presence. You can use Cosmic Power instead to boost both defenses to make it harder for physical and special attack to take out Deoxys-Defense. Stored Power is the STAB move for the set since it takes advantage of the stat boosts Deoxys-Defense get with Calm Mind/Cosmic Power. Taunt allows Deoxys-Defense to shut down defensive counterplay to stop it. Taunt prevents opposing Pokemon from setting up alongside it to break past it, status from crippling it, using phasing moves such as Roar and Whirlwind, and using Trick to cripple Deoxys-Defense. If you use Calm Mind for the stat boosting move, you can use Focus Blast to hit Dark-types such as Brute Bonnet, Incineroar, and Umbreon super effectively so you have a way to hit them. Recover is used to give Deoxys-Defense reliable HP recovery so it can stay around longer.

The item you use depends on if you use this set on Grassy Terrain teams. If you do use this on Grassy Terrain teams, use Grassy Seed as the item, as it gives Deoxys-Defense a defense boost when sent out in Grassy Terrain. If you use Grassy Seed, I recommend using Calm Mind for the stat boosting move. If you use this set outside of Grassy Terrain teams, use Leftovers so Deoxys-Defense can have some HP recovery each turn.

There are are few Tera Types Deoxys-Defense can use. Tera Fairy allows Deoxys-Defense to resist Dark moves while resisting Fighting moves. Tera Poison and Tera Steel can be used instead to give Deoxys-Defense decent defensive typings that grants an immunity to Toxic and posion, with Tera Poison allowing Deoxys-Defense to still resist Fighting moves.

252 HP EVs are used for bulk. 176 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature allows Deoxys-Defense to outspeed Chandelure so it can Taunt it to prevent it from tricking its Choice Specs (Just pray it isn't Scarf Chandelure you're facing) or setting up alongside you with Calm Mind. The rest of the EVs are used in Defense to give Deoxys-Defense a little physical bulk.

Defense Forme: Gen 9 NU Cosmic Power Stallbreaker (and Balance Breaker?)

OldSpice (Deoxys-Defense) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Cosmic Power
- Stored Power
- Night Shade / Taunt
- Recover

DeoD is currently being voted on by NU Council, so here is the Cosmic Power set that people don't like facing. While this DeoD set struggles against offense builds and takes time to really get snowballing though teams, it is useful to break past slower teams. This set uses DeoD's bulk, Rocky Helmet, speed, and Pressure to deal with slower paced teams. Cosmic Power boosting both of DeoD's defenses make it harder to take it out, and it helps makes DeoD's STAB Stored Power become powerful once it gets enough boosts. Night Shade is a useful move that lets DeoD deal consistent damage and allows DeoD to have a way to chip Dark-types such as Incineroar, Alolan Muk, and Umbreon. Taunt can be used instead to stop opposing Pokemon from setting up to break past DeoD, as well as denying opposing Pokemon HP recovery. Do note that with Taunt, you can't deal damage to Dark-types. Recover gives DeoD reliable HP recovery that can allow it to Pressure stall opposing Pokemon that try to wear it down.

Rocky Helmet is used as the item to deal chip damage to physical wallbreakers who make contact. Poison is the chosen Tera type since it allows DeoD to have a Toxic immunity while still being able to resist Fighting moves. 216 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature is used to allow DeoD to outspeed Max Speed Jolly Toxicroak, and 216 Speed EVs + Timid Nature lets DeoD hit a jump point for speed.

Deoxys
Deoxys-Defense @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Recover
- Toxic
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam

This is one of my favorite Deoxys-D sets, it has its flaws but is a really reliable moveset.

That's one of the best! Nice!
Also, 8/10
Why not timid? +spe -atk since it has no physical moves :D
y not replace calm mind with cosmic power and ice beam with protect? invest all ev's in bulk

- Torment
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave

This is a pretty darn mean guy. No XK or sweeping for you.

Deoxys-Speed @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 128 HP / 128 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Psycho Boost
- Substitute

Spikes- Damage upon switching in. Can stack damage if you feel you need to.
Stealth Rock- Damage upon switching in. Deals great damage to Pokemon weak against rock (up to 50% max health if weak 4x)
Psycho Boost- Strong attack, assuming you haven't already been KO'd
Substitute- If you're ignored or not knocked down to using the Focus Sash after turn one, can be used to stack Spikes.

Played with a friend using a set-up like this one and is great for support. Only problem is Stealth Rock can only be learned in B2/W2 (I believe, maybe B/W as well) via Move Tutor. You could always switch it out for Psychic for a damaging attack that doesn't down stats or give it a something that inflicts a status condition.

Deoxys
Deoxys-Speed @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 56 SpD / 96 Spe
Serious Nature
- Stealth Rock / Role Play
- Taunt
- Psyshock / Psycho Shift
- Trick

A trolling set for the current OU metagame that has worked for me so far and it's the most unexpected thing out of a Deoxys you could see. Full EVs aren't invested into Speed since almost nothing is going to outspeed 420 Speed with a Choice Scarf, with that, you can put your preferred range of bulkiness in. Trick makes wonderful trollage with a Choice Scarf, especially on stuff trying to use status moves which you can then punish with a Taunt. Stealth Rock is for the hazard lovers while you can give others a taste of their own medicine with Role Play. Psyshock is a decent attacking move to have in case of Taunts and Psycho Shift is just more trolling.

Is your prediction game any good?

Deoxys-Attack @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Timid Nature
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
-Mirror Coat
-Counter
-Magic Coat
-Psycho Boost

Can you predict which class of move the opposing Pokemon is gonna use, and reflect it accordingly? It's basically self-explanatory. Mirror Coat special moves. Counter physical moves. Magic Coat non-damaging moves. When you're down to your sash, fire off a nuclear Psycho Boost before dying.

by
Mirror coat, counter and magic coat would probably be better for the tanky defence forme. You can then deal back many more attacks for double damage and also eliminate the risk of being left on 1 HP and not landing a single hit if you predict the wrong kind of move from the enemy. That being said, psycho boost then would not work well for defence forme

I use this set whenever I use Deoxys. It is my signature set for Deoxys.

Deoxys-Attack
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Psycho Boost
- Extreme Speed
- Superpower
- Ice Punch / Knock Off

Psycho boost= coverage, if you've already used superpower and don't want to switch.
Extreme Speed= priority, for killing pokes that used a sash.
Superpower= coverage, ultimate destroyer.
Ice Punch / Knock Off= dragon destroyer / psychic destroyer
