I came up with my username by randomly mashing the keyboard. No, really. It was originally my PS! Username, but eventually became my online name on most platforms.

I used to watch a show every Saturday called Good Game Spawn Point where the hosts Bajo and Hex would review games and answer questions about video games. Back in 2011 I was trying to think of a gamer name for myself and created a portmanteau of their names. As for the exclamation mark before and after my name, I just wanted to be the first name listed in this site's chat room.

I have the username ryter the great because my shield username was ryter (seriously random) and of course I used it in legends arceus and violet. Showdown! wouldn't let me use ryter so I added the great because I'm pretty great. Or whatever. So I used it as my username for here. When name changes came round, I added an er at the end just because. So now my name is ryter the greater for 6 months. Yay. So that's the story of my name.

My name is currently madregigigas. This comes from one of the first strategy in a double battle, Comfey and Regigigas. The theory was that Comfey could use worry seed to change Regigigas' ability to insomnia. It was a bit of a "mad" strategy in that Whimsicott outclasses Comfey due to prankster and access to tailwind and U-turn.

so one day when i wanted to make a account here, i thought to myself,, what would be a interesting user? i was skill swapping magic guard onto a steel beam mon on showdown at that time, and since steel beam is taught by tm 157 in legends arceus which i thought is a pretty cool game. this also has a funny side effect of me teaching overheat in SV, both of which are only really situationally useful which i also found funny, so here i am.

My name, Kaikoshi, is the short version of Kaida Ikoshi. It's my internet name- NOT my real name. Basically, if I meet someone cool and they ask, "What's your name?" I just go ahead and tell them to call me Kai.

If you're interested (You aren't), my internet birthday is March 8th. Don't know how it came to be besides me playing Pokemon Scarlet and Nurse Joy asked, "Hey, what's your birthday?" I picked the first date that came to mind, finally realizing in 2026 that it's the 67th day of the year. God, poor Kaida.

Anyone who knows anything about military rank will instantly recognise my username as a pun.

MAJ. is an abbreviation for the rank Major(just clarifying I'm not a major, its just for the pun), which is a play on words of major meaning big part or just big in general.

And the second half, skill issue, in a military context would mean that my last name is literally "Skill issue" which is funny in itself. But a normal person would read it as a person with a massive skill issue, which is very true in my case because I suck an astronomical amount in any game i touch.

The name originated from me needing a username that doesn't expose my full legal name to the whole world (which i used for a solid year or two XD), and me loving anything military. And being inspired by silly usernames I saw in a Habie147 video (peak VR YouTuber btw go watch him) led me to making this name.
