Spent some time laddering with this team and it has great winrate. Let's see how we can improve this. (You might notice that some mons are checks to common threats.)

Ogerpon-Wellspring @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Swords Dance
- Horn Leech
- Encore
Your standard Wellspring set. Hornleech for recovery, Encore for utility. This is quite effective at checking nonscarf lando-t.

Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
Scarf Lele is here for speed control, as it outspeeds both Booster Speed Great Tusk and +1 Gouging Fire. It OHKOs Great Tusk and 2HKOs Gouging Fire with Psychic: 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Gouging Fire in Psychic Terrain: 204-240 (58.1 - 68.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO. Immunity to priority is also a neat touch, as Raging Bolt is everywhere.

Iron Boulder @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mighty Cleave
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Zen Headbutt
With Booster Energy, this outruns most of the tier, pressuring other mons to attack it so as not to let is get a Swords Dance. It struggles against priority users like Mega Scizor and this is what Tapu Lele is here for.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Spikes
- Gyro Ball
It is the team's wall and counter to Alomomola. Chose a defensive Tera but Fairy/Water works too. Has the dual purpose of also setting hazards. Gyro Ball, while powerful, shall be used sparingly.

Skeledirge @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Torch Song
- Slack Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex
The last mon was the team's mixed wall, but did you think I was done with that? Two more walls to go! Skeledirge is the physical wall, status spreader, and anti-setup in the form of Unaware.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Magma Storm
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
This is our last wall and it is a special wall. Gone with Tera Flying but Grass works. It provides another form of hazards in Stealth Rock, and anti-setup with Toxic.

Let's start with an overview of the team as a whole.

There are some notable common type weaknesses, 3 or your Pokemon are weak to Water, with only one immunity and one resist. That's not too bad, but also, the same 3 are weak to Ground, a very common type for coverage, with only one resist. once Ogerpon-W goes down, your team is vulnerable to any sweeper with Earthquake. This wouldn't be as horrible if you had a Pokemon to take care of common Ground and Water types, but you don't. Your team is too reliant on Ogerpon-W, so it will really struggle if she gets KOed.

Also, Rock Polish Mega Diance will rip through this team.

I'll go through how each Pokemon could improve.

Ogerpon-W
Pretty standard set, looks fine. Nothing wrong with it.

Tapu Lele
Looks ok. I would put a coverage move like Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, Hidden Power Fire/Ice or Shadow Ball over Psyshock, because in most situations you won't need both, especially with scarf because nobody's going to send in a special wall if they know you have Psyshock. Also Modest would be better than Timid for the nature, because Gouging Fire is banned now, and Booster Speed Great Tusk is pretty rare. 433 speed is plenty for you.

Iron Boulder
It's ok... but Iron Boulder is Rubl for a reason. You can use it if you want, but be careful You ay want to swap Close Combat with Earthquake and Tera Ground to hit more stuff and have EdgeQuake coverage with Mighty Cleave. You could also swap it with a Mega, as this is Natdex and You don't have one. Mega Beedrill and Mega Aerodactyl would both appreciate Psychic terrain support. Having a flier like Mega Aerodactyl would help with You teams Ground weakness. Mega Beedrill would give your team a power boost and a potent sweeper if you get a Fell Stinger off in Psychic Terrain.

Here are some sets that could work:

Aerodactyl-Mega @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure ---> Tough Claws
Tera Type: Ground/Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Hone Claws
- Dual Wingbeat
- Earthquake/Iron Head/Crunch/Whatever

Sad that none of the good Rock STAB moves make contact.

Beedrill-Mega @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm ---> Adaptability
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fell Stinger
- Poison Jab
- U-turn
- Knock Off

U-turn or Knock Off could be replaced with Drill Run if you want.

Ferrothorn
Looks fine, but I would replace Power Whip with Knock Off for utility or Protect for an extra turn of Leftovers and Leech seed healing. You don't need two attacks.

Skeledirge
He's banned to Ubers now. You'll need to use a different Unaware wall. I would recommend Dondozo, as a physical wall with typing to compliment Heatran. Here's a set:

Dondozo @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Wave Crash
- Curse

Dondozo can wall, set up, and deal massive damage. Most Physical attackers switch out at the sight of a Dondozo. You could also use Alomoloma (Or however you spell that), but I feel that Alo is too passive, and you already have quite a few somewhat passive walls anyway.

Heatran
Heatran looks pretty good. You might want to put Stealth Rock on Ferrothorn, over spikes. This will free up a moveslot for something like Taunt, for stopping setup and stall, Wil-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers you may meet (This can also help Heatran act as a mixed wall, a Special Wall with Burn capability.) or Roar to stop setup or help spread Toxic, or get the Natural Cure Blissey out of your face.

Thanks for reading. Hope I helped. Feel free to comment if you have any ideas, concerns, or rage.

I do want to point out 2 things you got wrong here. 1: Skeledirge isn't banned to Ubers, idk why you think it was. 2: Mega Aerodactyl doesn't gain any benefit from Psychic Terrain due to not being on it.
ok i admit that this isnt a very good team, but this was in 2024's meta and tera wasnt banned then, this post is now completely irrelevant
thank you for your attention
also skeledirge isnt ubers
Whoops. I see Skeledirge so often in Natdex Ubers I thought it was an uber. Dondozo still probably works better.
You can ignore the Tera types, I just add a tera type to all my movesets regardless of whether it's legal or not, in case I want to use the set somewhere else.
I like answering old RMT posts, giving feedback on the teams and updating them to the current meta, just in case someone wants to use them. It usually means there will be a lot to change, but it's fun anyway. Especially because RMT is the section with the least Questions to Answers ratio.
