A Swords Dance set Overqwil can use in Gen 9 NU. Overqwil uses Swords Dance on Rain teams in higher tiers like RU, however, this set doesn't need Rain to use a Swords Dance set. Swords Dance Overqwil picked up in usage in NU as an adaptation of Galarian Slowbro being in the tier. Swords Dance gives Overqwil a way to boost its attack stat so it can clean through teams. Gunk Shot is used since it is a powerful Poison STAB. Gunk Shot is useful to take out Pokemon such as Brute Bonnet, Florges, and Sylveon, as well as being able to 2HKO Umbreon after a Swords Dance boost. Crunch is used for the Dark STAB, being able to hit Chandelure super effectively as well as doing a good amount of damage to Pokemon who resist or are immune to Gunk Shot such as Galarian Slowbro, Palossand, Copperajah, Dragalge, Flygon, Duraludon, and Registeel. Liquidation is a nice coverage move that allows Overqwil to hit Pokemon such as Diancie, Gligar, and Mudsdale super effectively. Aqua Jet is an option to allows Overqwil to have a priority move to revenge kill faster Pokemon. Spikes is also an option for the last slot, as Overqwil can setup a hazard that can chip grounded Pokemon, which is useful vs Overqwil's checks. Tera Water is used to boost the power of Liquidation or Aqua Jet (Mainly Liquidation), though Tera Water also gives Overqwil a decent defensive typing. Leftovers is used to give Overqwil some HP recovery. Initimidate is used as the Ability since this set doesn't need rain to put in work. Intimidate lowering the attack of opposing Pokemon can also give Overqwil opportunities to setup Swords Dance. If you just want to use the standard Rain Sweeper set on manual rain teams in NU or in a tier like RU, swap Leftovers for Life Orb and use Adamant Nature over Jolly Nature, but that's only if you use this Swords Dance set on Rain teams.
