Storytime because I never look at this part of PDB that much!
I was registered as The Legacy Lucario. I have been a variety of Lucario, my bar none favorite Pokemon, for ALMOST my entire tenure since I joined the site at age 12 almost 10 years ago. Counting my current name, I can remember at least six of them related to Lucario out of at least seven different names.
For a time I had an obsessive thing with Dungeon Siege (2001) and named myself "Cmndr. Gresh" with Spade unicode surrounding it, because I also had a thing for Spades I guess. (This actually instantly triggered a copycat from Kyron - someone who newer users might not know, he's been inactive for a few years; his final name was Kameko, but I'll be damned if I remember what he changed it to that time because it wasn't that!)
Gresh was the evil vice-leader of the demonic Seck race in Dungeon Siege. Incidentally, he was also the hardest boss fight in the game - forget King Gom in the final battle, Gresh had collectively like 25 armored skeletal henchmen helping him while he shot fire at my party!...was it fire? Jeez, it's been so long that while I remember the surrounding battle scene vividly, like it was yesterday, I don't remember what Gresh himself fought like. I just remember unfair af boss battle.
Anyway, I digress. Lucario has always been a symbol of strength to me, as was Gresh. Maybe even a touch of sinister strength at times. That was always something I liked to portray in my name earlier on in my time here, and I just stuck with Lucario for a while. I think I've been a variety of Stellar Lucario for like the last six years ish? Which leads me to news below.
Next name change, prepare for something different and for a second departure from Lucario. I thought of a username epiphany today, and thought what better time than to do it this upcoming season for PDB? Look out for me on the next username change thread.
