New Pokemon Guide (FAR from complete)

Question

As some of you may have known, I have recently embarked on a journey to develop a beginner-friendly guide to competitive Pokemon. This jouney is by no means over, but I have just finished the first major chapter and would love to get some feedback/comments on my writing and teaching style.

This is the link to what I have. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment on the document itself or this thread. I might not continue for a while because of school, but now and then I might sporadically write some stuff.

Just had a flick through -- well done, it reads very well. The type of guide I wanted to write (concepts like momentum, how that plays into team archetypes, etc) is definitely intermediate by comparison so this should work well in combination.
No pressure to finish quickly. When it's finished we can make a thread for it here, and then we have a collection of guides in a meta tag. People can pick where they want to start.

Looks good. You should use headings for the chapters so they can be used in the outline as a table of contents.
