Why are the details on Vikavolt so contradictory to its speed?

The details on it mention that it's super fast and all, but then it has a measly 43 speed, which is below average.

Vikavolt is like a fortress that zooms through the forest, firing a beam of electricity from its mouth. Its huge jaws control the electricity it blasts out. Vikavolt is adept at acrobatic flight maneuvers like tailspins and sharp turns. It can fly at high speeds even as it weaves its way through the complicated tangle of branches in the forest.

Vikavolt flusters opponents with acrobatic flying maneuvers. This creates an opening for it to deliver an electric beam attack.

Game Freaking logic. I guess Pokedex entries aren't really the way to go when looking for info. For example, the Pokedex says Pidgeot can fly at Mach 2 speed and its speed is only 101. Honestly, it is pretty stupid that Vikavolt is slow but there's really no reason behind it.

The Pidgeot one might have been an honest mistake. I'm pretty sure this is them intentionally messing with us.

There are a lot of other references to Vikavolt carrying Charjabug as battery packs, which could be interpreted as an outside power source to fuel the increased speed.  There is also the more ham-fisted explanation of simply pigeon-holing Vikavolt into Trick Room (speed order reversed).

The simple answer is that its just another case of Pokemon logic. For example the pokedex talks about how fast Garchomp can fly yet he cant learn fly or Gastly being able to know the elemental punches. So just know whenever the pokedex or a npc says something about a Pokemon don't take it to literally.

@Blaziken you could argue that that example in particular isn't GF logic, wooper gets dynamic punch and ice punch both, but only because beta wooper has hands and they just never changed the movepool
