This is my team playing Scarlet. It took me a long time to make this trying to minimize type overlap and maximize type coverage. I will be including nicknames. Also, for anyone who has watched Hazbin Hotel, this is where I got my nicknames from. Enjoy!
TEAM PREVIEW
Meowscarada, Kilowattrel, Amarogue/Ceruledge, Gengar, Tinkaton, Baxcalibur/Cetitan——————————————————————————
1- Meowscarada “Husk”
Held Item- Muscle Band
Ability- Overgrow
Suggested Natures- Jolly/Adamant
Typings- Grass/Dark
Tera Type- Dark/Grass
Move Set-
Flower Trick
Night Slash
U-Turn
Play Rough/Brick Break
Husk was designed to have an entirely physical move set, to be boosted by Muscle Band and his high attack stat. Flower Trick is his signature move that always lands a critical hit and never misses, boosted by Muscle Band as well as Grass Type STAB. Night Slash is Dark Type STAB that has a high crit ratio. U-Turn is a great move to have on Husk, as he is admittedly fast but frail, and has been one shot a couple times before I had U-Turn. You can find the TM northwest of the Kasa Royal Watchtower on a ledge near a tree. It allows Husk to deal damage as well as switch out of a bad match up, like Fire. Play Rough and Brick Break are both good coverage options that can be learned by TM. Play Rough is Fairy coverage that can be found on a high, flat ledge in Area Zero. Brick Break is fighting coverage that can also break shield moves, which I found useful. It can be found in the northern section of East Province.

2- Kilowattrel “Vox”
Held Item- Magnet/Sharp Beak
Ability- Volt Absorb
Suggested Natures- Timid/Modest
Typings- Electric/Flying
Tera Type- Water
Move Set-
Thunderbolt/Discharge
Air Slash
Volt Switch
Tera Blast
Kilowattrel is an amazing Pokemon. Thunderbolt is an excellent Electric move, given by TM as a reward after the Livincia Gym, along with Volt Switch. However, Discharge is a good Level Up option until you beat the Livincia Gym. Both can be boosted by Magnet. Air Slash is Flying STAB, which can be boosted by Sharp Beak. You can find it in the Southern Province near the Alfornada on a mountain ledge. Volt Switch is a great STAB and returning move, allowing Vox to throw out some Electric STAB before returning and allowing a different Pokemon to sub in, similar to U-Turn on Husk. Water Tera Type is so good on Vox, because it eliminates his Rock Type weakness and allows him to obliterate the Rock Types that threaten the rest of this team. This leaves him with only 1 weakness- Grass. You can find Wattrel on coastal cliffs and beaches near Nemona’s house.
——————————————————————————

3- Armarouge “Lucifer”
Held Item- Charcoal/Life Orb
Ability- Flash Fire
Suggested Natures- Modest/Quiet
Typings- Fire/Psychic
Tera Type- Grass
Move Set-
Armor Cannon
Psyshock
Aura Sphere
Energy Ball
Lucifer’s signature move, Armor Cannon, is his STAB boosted Fire nuke, hitting with 120 power and further boosted by Charcoal. Psyshock is a Psychic STAB TM that can be found behind a house in Cascarrafa that allows Lucifer to bypass Special tanks by hitting their Physical Defense. Since this team is rather weak to Rock, Aura Sphere is a nonnegotiable Fighting coverage move. Then we have Energy Ball. I cannot over say how key this TM (Found on an island in North Province) is. With the Grass Tera Type, Terastallizing results in flipping his three biggest weaknesses (Ground, Water, and Rock) into resistances. He is then able to destroy Ground, Rock, and Water Types with a STAB Energy Ball. Charcadet can be found west of Mesagoza in a canyon. The Auspicious Armor can be obtained by trading 10 Bronzor Fragments to the NPC in Zapapico. The Malicious Armor for Violet Players can be obtained by trading 10 Sinistea Chips to the same NPC.
(Violet users should use Ceruledge.
Alternative- Ceruledge
Held Item- Charcoal/Spell Tag
Ability- Flash Fire
Suggested Natures- Jolly/Adamant
Typings- Fire/Ghost
Tera Type- Fire/Ghost
Move Set-
Bitter Blade
Shadow Claw/Phantom Force
Psycho Cut
Swords Dance/Close Combat)
——————————————————————————

4- Gengar “Alastor”
Held Item- Spell Tag/Focus Sash
Ability- Cursed Body
Suggested Nature- Timid/Modest
Typings- Poison/Ghost
Tera Type- Fairy/Normal/Poison/Ghost)
Move Set-
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb
Dazzling Gleam
Nasty Plot
Alastor is the definition of a Glass Cannon- hits hard, but can’t survive many hits. Shadow Ball is his Ghost Type STAB that is further boosted by Spell Tag (Though I would recommend Focus Sash more stability for a Glass Cannon like him). Sludge Bomb is Poison STAB with a high Poisoning chance, found near the Northern Province or West Paldean Sea. Dazzling Gleam is a necessity for Alastor, turned to STAB by his Fairy Tera Type. This is given as a reward for beating Ortega at the Team Star Fairy Crew base. It allows him to handle Dark Types that threaten him, while a Normal Tera Type deletes his Ghost weakness (I personally used Fairy). Nasty Plot is a TM found at the top of a rock formation near a cliff in the Area Zero research station area. To g him you can 1) Trade a Pincurchin to a girl named Blossom in Levincia City for a Haunter named Hauntikins (I am sorry, you can’t change the name) which will automatically evolve, 2) Catch an already evolved Gengar in a Tera Raid or in Northern Parts of the Glaseado Mountain or the Southern Province, or 3) be a normal person and just catch a Haunter. Haunter can be found at night around the West Province, North Province, Dalizapa Passage, and Glaseado Mountain.
However, if you don’t like having so many Glass Cannons on here, use Adam.

4- Clodsire “Adam”
Held Item- Black Sludge/Leftovers
Ability- Poison Point
Suggested Nature- Careful/Adamant/Impish
Typings- Poison/Ground
Tera Type- Water/Steel/Poison/Ground
Move Set-
Poison Jab
Earthquake
Recover
Curse
——————————————————————————

5- Tinkaton “Niffty”
Held Item- Metal Coat/Rocky Helmet
Ability- Mold Breaker
Suggested Natures- Adamant/Jolly
Typings- Fairy/Steel
Tera Type- Steel
Move Set-
Gigaton Hammer
Play Rough
Knock Off
Rock Slide
Gigaton Hammer is Niffty’s signature move, boosted by Metal Coat and Steel Type STAB. 160 power is nothing to laugh at. And once she Terastallizes, it becomes an absolute Steel Type nuke that destroys everything in its path. Play Rough is Niffty’s Fairy Type STAB. Knock Off is a helpful move that knocks off the opponents held item. Rock Slide is a TM found on a small island in the North Paldean Sea that is great coverage for her teams weaknesses to Fire and Flying, hurting both enemies but not her allies. Tinkaton can be found as Tinkatink in the South Province ruins.
——————————————————————————

6- Baxcalibur “Zestial”
Held Item- Loaded Dice
Ability- Thermal Exchange
Suggested Natures- Adamant/Jolly
Typings- Dragon/Ice
Tera Type- Dragon
Move Set-
Icicle Spear
Glaive Rush
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Zestial is your Psuedo Legendary powerhouse. Icicle Spear is Ice Type STAB, with Loaded Dice guaranteeing that it hits at least 4/5 times. Glaive Rush is Zestial’s signature move- devastating 120 power, plus STAB, and the set up with Dragon Dance, this becomes a absolute nuke- which is really necessary, as he will take double damage from any retaliation moves, so you want to do your best to make sure it is a OHKO. As mentioned before, Dragon Dance is set up for Glaive Rush, a TM found on a cliff overlooking the sea in South Province, or a cave in North Province. Earthquake is coverage, given as a reward for defeating 5 trainers in the Asado Desert. Though, Baxcalibur is very late game. Frigabax is a rare spawn at the Glaseado Mountain, evolving into Arctibax at level 35 and Baxcalibur at level 54. Until you can get him, use Cetitan. Cetoddle can be found in the Dalizapi Passage, and the Ice Stone to evolve it can be found behind the Dalizapi Passage Pokemon Center. Once you get Arctibax, use Eviolite on him instead of Loaded Dice (Found as a reward after defeating 7 trainers in the South Province).

6- Cetitan “Razzle”
Held Item- Never-Melt-Ice
Ability- Thick Fat
Suggested Natures- Adamant/Brave
Typings- Ice
Tera Type- Water/Ice
Move Set-
Ice Spinner
Cetitans most reliable STAB Ice move, learned by Level Up.
Ice Shard
Necessary priority move for a slow track like Razzle, learned by Level Up/Move Relearner.
Body Slam
Consistent power compared to Heavy Slam’s varied damage, also has a 30% Paralyze chance that can be very helpful for the team Glass Cannons. TM found directly above the ear entrance of the cave part of the Dalizapi Passage.
Liquidation
Destroys Fire and Rock Types that threaten him and the rest of the team, especially with Tera Type STAB

Note- Not all suggested Tera Types are necessary. Most will be fine with their normal Tera Types (without the grinding). The only ones I would suggest would be Grass on Armarouge and Water on Kilowattrel. Those will end up being really helpful.
