Decided to make a new thread myself for this so I can get the responses via email. Here you can report any minor errors with the main site instead of starting a lot of new questions. Things you can report here include:

  • Spelling/grammar errors.
  • Incorrect data (e.g. Pokemon with the wrong abilities listed, moves with the wrong power/type and so on).
  • Missing pictures (sprites, icons and artwork).

As I fix the errors, the answers will be hidden. Try and keep comments to a minimum to avoid clogging up the page, stick to important things like additions/corrections to the corrections.

Remember, small corrections only! If you're reporting something more substantial than a missing picture or incorrect data, please make a new thread!

Please, post corrections as ANSWERS, not comments. Thanks :)

FIX THE VEIW COUNTER

Say I go onto a question for the first time. The veiws go up by one. Thats all fine. But when I go onto it again, let’s say a few days later, the veiws go up again ):<

If it’s meant to do that then It dosent always go up by one. Say I veiw the same question in the same day. it won’t go up?

by
I'm pretty sure the view count goes up each time a different viewer views the page.

For example, I view a page and it gets 1 view. I visit it again, and it doesn't go up, but if, let's say, Vines visits it, it goes up 2 views, and if I visit it again, it goes up to 3 views.

I don't know why it works like this though.
Thats…… weird
It's working as intended. Its function is to remember the last IP address that viewed the page, and if the next viewer's IP address is a match, then it won't increase the view count. That's all, it doesn't keep a history or a list of users.

The design stops you from reloading the page over and over to inflate views, which is all it's supposed to do. It's not really intended to prevent the same person more broadly from adding multiple views over time, not even social media platforms bother with that.

(Unrelated but this should be its own thread, it's not a minor error like a broken link or wrong stat)
Oh ok didnt realise that was how it worked. Oops!

The Moves learnt by level up list for Galarian Rapidash is missing; only the list for regular Rapidash appears as if they were the same moves.

This happens because the main dex pages are for gen 9 and Galarian Rapidash isn't in gen 9. Not that it's clear at all about what's happening.
The page for gen 8 has both: https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/rapidash/moves/8

User monke has no points in meta, shouldn’t they start with 20? Either this is a glitch or my phone is lazy and can’t be bothered to put 20 so it just removed the 2

by
Huh, I see it too, monke has 0 points. How peculiar.
Long term issue with the site, related to the setup with three instances of Q2A all pointing to the same list of users. The issue fixes itself if the user becomes active on the relevant section.
Ohhhhh ok thanks fizz

Possible error with the gen availability for Hold Back.

Hold Back is listed as having a move description for Scarlet and Violet but when looking through the dex I couldn’t find a single mon that could learn it, including ones that already knew it in Sword and Shield so I think it should have the “This move can’t be used” description.

It’s rare to see a weird move removed in Gen 9 because they’re normally removed in Gen 8 I think this might just be an outlier to that.

Hold Back is a special move with extremely limited event distribution. This site likely doesn't account for event moves in its learn dex and tends to be updated to the major game of the latest Gen. According to the Smogon Dex, Hold Back is in Gen 9 and can be called by Metronome, so due to its limited distribution, that's probably why the move doesn't show any Pokemon for the learn set.
