Who are the staff on the Showdown! server and what did they do to become staff?

Question

I think I just want a sentence for each one, not an entire story. (listing their Pokebase usernames might help too) If this takes 6 hours to answer, then we probably have too many staffs. Please don't question my curiosity.

^ JarJar is correct. My knowledge of the auth list is mostly outdated, but it's basically all Mods + Editors + major contributors to PS have powers from @ to ~ , and other older, established users also get lower ranks.
As far as I know a lot of those ranks have been lost to inactivity tho.

There are a few staffs, like Desokoro, who never did very much stuff here.

I'm aware of who Yandere is, and it's an old known user; hence the auth.
Deso is another older user just on PS; again, most of the auth are old users that most of the newer people don't know yet.

And I remember seeing Deso's account here once. He only put out maybe 1-2 answers, and that was his contribution here. But aside from that he's massively helpful and was consistently around the server regardless of who was present. Although he's not a huge part of the site here, he's definitely one of the reasons the server was active at all during the slump(s). I'd log in at random intervals and he'd be the only guy around, even if others had not come online in days ( I think, the timestamps were a bit messy). I wouldn't be surprised if Yandereaf is one such user who's rarely active here but was around the server a lot, and was hence promoted, in case the others were absent. For a long time (maybe it's a coincidence) I noticed him/her and one-two other users who were active (the name monoumbreon comes to mind but this was a while ago and I doubt my memory a bit) and so it was okay. Now that we have newer users, obviously the misuse of powers is an issue, but in the past it resembled a lawless wasteland. Idk what level Mike is at on the server, but if he or New or someone comes along and does the needful, it'll be easier for the rest of us

We are currently re-building the staff so many of the old auth have been demoted. Us Admins will be promoting new auth based on who shows the most activity on the server. Currently Fizz and Sempi have been promoted to Leader and Yandere has been demoted. Jar Jar has also been given his voice back(might be promo'd to driver if activity is shown). PX has also been promoted to moderator.

By any chance can I have voice? I did a lot of the work in bringing back tournaments and will probably do lots of hosting in the future.

Probably not by asking for it. Stay around the DB server more often and someone will eventually promote you.
