Blaziken (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Protect
- Baton Pass
- Blaze Kick
- Hi Jump Kick
flame charge for dw blaziken?
Blaziken @Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EV: 4SAtk/252Atk/252Spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SAtk)
-Flare Blitz
-Hi Jump Kick
-Stone Edge
-Brave Bird
What's your opinion?
OK, but Blaziken should be used for speed boost, and if it has speed boost replace stone edge for protect. If you can't get speed boost, than that moveset is pretty good.
What about Mega Blaziken?
Why don't you use weakness policy? It can turn Blaziken to unstoppable sweeper.
Keep everything but baton pass and change it to swords dance and give it a focus sash trust me
Don't use Swords Dance with Blaziken. Because of the number of moves that don't have 100 accuracy, use Hone Claws, which increases attack and accuracy by one stage. This helps with Blaze Kick, High Jump Kick, and Stone Edge. Trust me. The sacrifice is worth it. Also, focus sash is the way to go.

Blaziken has nearly equal attacking stats, so why not use Flamethrower or Heat Wave over Fire Punch? The difference will be incredibly Minuscule. If your Blaziken has a nature that supports the use of Physical moves, though, then give it Blaze Kick, since it's a little stronger, and has a high Critical Hit rate.

I also agree that Sunny Day shouldn't be there, seeing as Blaziken has no Defense and cannot set up. Replace it with Stone Edge or Thunderpunch for coverage against Flying-types.

Since you can't set up Sunny Day for Solarbeam, don't keep it. Instead, take advantage of that Fighting-subtype and give Blaziken Sky Uppercut for reliable STAB that can hit cheap Flying-types who try to take to the sky.

Finally, Night Slash or Shadow Claw cover the same weakness, Psychic, so get one of them. Overall, this was a fair moveset!

For an item, give Blaziken either a Wide Lens or Zoom lens. Wide Lens will give Uppercut, Stone Edge, and Blaze Kick 10% more Accuracy. A Zoom Lens will up the Critical Hit Rate of Stone Edge, Blaze Kick, and Night Slash / Shadow Claw to about 38%; over 1/3 of the time!

For Night Slash and SHadow Claw, you have to decide whether Fighting reisting it or Normal being immune is worse.
I have beat the Elite Four thousands of times with THIS moveset, Blaze Kick, Peck, Double Kick, Ember.
Peck and Ember are kind of not-so powerful... i wouldn't recommend them :/
I run a Gallade with insane critical hit ratios ; drives people crazy
My Favourite Moveset:
Ability-Speed Boost

1.Flare Blitz
2.High Jump Kick

Use protect on the FIRST TURN for a SPEED BOOST, then just use whatever moves you think are super effective, then after if you see a Pokemon faster than you just go for ANOTHER PROTECT, now you outspeed almost ALL THE POKEMON(OR ALL THE POKEMON)

Uhh. We’re talking competitive, not elite four, their easy.
If you are going to give blaziken the zoom or wide lens, give it high jump kick, as it will never miss.

Blaziken:@Air Balloon or Focus Sash or Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ev's 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 Hp

Ability: Speed Boost

Hone Claws - Stats, and goes amazingly with this set

Blaze Kick - Not perfect accuracy, but has good power and a chance to flinch

Hi Jump Kick - Awesome power, but lacks accuracy, that is fixed by hone claws

Stone Edge or Earthquake - More Hone Claws abuse, or good coverage

Role: Physical Sweeper

This is my set :)

Blaziken really doesn't have the speed to set things up. So I don't think he should have sunny day, he just doesn't have the defenses for it. He is strong in both offensive stats, so hidden power (grass) could be a replacement. If you want to use him in gen V when he has the speed boost ability, this might work a bit better, you could even use protect to stall for a few turns to boost up his speed.

Blaziken @ Lefties

Trait: Speed Boost

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Protect
  • Swords Dance
  • High Jump Kick / Baton Pass
  • Stone Edge / Brave Bird / Shadow Claw

Protect is a speed boost. Swords Dance brings up Atk to insane levels if your opponent can't take him down fast enough. High Jump Kick / Baton Pass will give STAB, or a +6 Spd / Atk ExtremeKiller. Shudders Stone Edge / Brave Bird / Shadow Claw all provide coverage, go BB if you use Baton Pass.

why jolly? Since Blaziken is already getting enough speed from speed boost each time it hits, Jolly nature would be pointless. Should focus on more attack and go with Adamant Nature.
PokeGamerZMan Lefties is a short term for Leftovers

What do you mean Leafyblade

Stone Edge: Deals with Flying types.

HP Ice: Type coverage against Ground, Flying, and Dragon type foes.

Fire Blast: With mixed stats, Blaziken needs its most powerful non-Overheat/Blast Burn STAB.

Superpower: Same as with Fire Blast, but Physical.

You can also use HP Electric to deal with Water and Flying types, but you don't get that Dragon coverage. Vacuum Wave is powerful priority under Blaziken. You also might feel tempted to use Focus Blast, but it isn't the best idea.

Gen V

Blaziken (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Protect
- Baton Pass
- Blaze Kick
- Hi Jump Kick

is it possible to have that move set trachy?
No, it's not possible to have a Blaziken with Speed Boost and an egg move, which would be Baton Pass in this case. It's banned in OU, in any case.
It is.
It's possible, but with this  moveset it's in the UBER tier because it is so strong.

Item: Evolite
Abilty: Speed-Boost
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Role: Bulky Sweeper

Bulk-up: Boost your Attack and Defense
Brick-break: STAB
Flare-blitz: STAB and all out power
Shadow-Claw/Rock-slide: Coverage over Psychic Types/ Coverage over Flying Types

I have found this guy surprisingly effective(I got my old computer to work long enough to test him on PO) he even held his own against a couple of OU Pokemon(not saying he should be used in OU obviously). He is a nice and Bulky sweeper.

Evolite? Blaziken can't evolve again.
Maybe he is talking about Combusken? I don't know, but....

Why no one mentioned the counter Blaziken?

Blaziken@Focus sash

Trait:Speed boost

Evs:252Atk, 252 Speed

  • Blaze kick
  • Counter
  • Protect
  • Shadow claw/Night Slash

Strategy: Well, due to Blaziken's small defenses he'll survive the first hit hanging on his focus sash. Generaly with 80 spedd it attacks 2nd so it will unleash a powerfull counter. Speed boost raises his speed so at the next turn he'l be faster than the opponent pokemon and re-use conter and faint it. Protect is here if the opponent throws out a pokemon which has really higher speed than Blaziken, like Deoxys etc. It will survive this turn, raise its speed and at the next turn where he is speeder he will attack. Blaze kick is here for another STAB and shadow claw/night slash for coverage.

You do realize Counter has negative priority right? (Yes, I know I'm commenting on a 2 year old post)
Using counter on 1 HP is a bad choice. First time, counter. Second time, Blaze Kick or Shadow Claw/Night Slash.

DW Blazekin

EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Attack, 6 hp

Nature: Jolly/Adamant

Item: Focus Sash

Hone Claws/S-dance: The talons of a Chicken (O.O)

Blazekick/Fire punch: STAB

Hi-Jump-Kick/brick break: STAB

Baton-pass: Great with speed boost enables it to sweep or pass great attack and speed

Combusken (M) @ Focus Sash

Trait: Speed Boost

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd

Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)

  • Protect
  • Overheat
  • Brick Break
  • Shadow Claw

Standard set for NU - RU, not MC.

Protect gets this guy's speed up a notch, and he still has his Focus Sash to fall back on, although I would consider him to be a better lead-killer.
Overheat knocks out a lot of opponents for the OHKO there, not a lot in the lower tiers that can take it neutral. Brick Break takes down dual screeners and such, with some nice Physical Fighting type STAB might I add. And Shadow Claw makes for some neat coverage, mostly for taking out Psychics, and Ghosts after 1 Overheat.

my blaziken:
nature: hasty (due to defense still being good enough)
ability: blaze (no torchic in dream world yet)
hi-jump kick (stab)
blaze kick (stab+critical or i might go for flare blitz)
bulk-up (covers hasty defense loss)
brave bird (against other fighting types)
what should i get to bench brave bird? earthquake or stone edge?
role: quick powerful physical beast

What's the item it's holding?
i personally don't rely on items that much. but maybe either a flame plate to boost blaze kick (i might replace it with flare blitz) or a life orb. if i can get my bleedin' hands on one. :L
Items can be the difference between victory and loss.
hmm...good point. i might give it the berry that raises speed in a pinch (idk the name) cuz i dont have a speed boost blaziken.

Blaziken (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Speed Boost

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)

  • Protect
  • Swords Dance
  • Hi Jump Kick
  • Flare Blitz/Shadow Claw

Protect is used to get the Speed Boost, reliably.
Swords Dance can be used to set up, but it needs a pretty good chance to do it.
Hi Jump Kick is good STAB move.
Flare Blitz can be paired with Groudon for very good power and is STAB. Shadow Claw is used to get perfect neutral coverage alongside Hi Jump Kick while also hidding Giratina, Flare Blitz is usually the better option though.

Blaziken moveset for 4th gen (pokemon diamond pearl platinum heartgold and soulsilver)

Blaziken is a attack killer so he needs to be adamant nature (+attack)
A very good moveset for this amazing pokemon is

-Blaze kick, because it's a physical attack and adamant nature have more power in physical attacks plus this move has a good critical hit ratio and if blaziken have low hp and blaze kick will boost by 50%

-ThunderPunch, yes thunderpunch is an amazing move for this pokemon for a lot of reasons. 1st reason its obvious, its supereffective for flying and water type pokemons. secont is a physical attack with a good ratio.

-superpower/sky uppercut, superpower its a very powerfull fight attack bud if you are woried becouse it lowers attack and defence then sky uppercut is a very good fighting move too.

-stone edge/earthquake/shadow claw/night slash/vacuum wave.
i know there are four moves.all of them are good for blaziken for some reasons
-stone edge can be good for flying and fire type pokemon bud its accuracy its very low.
-earthquake is very helpfull for blaziken its powerfull that can K.O many pokemon's.
-shadow claw or night slash are in my opinion the best choise.it can beat psyhic types and ghost types.pick up whatever you like better shadow claw is ghost type and night slash dark type.
-vacuum wave is a fighting move that always hit first.you can switch it with superpower or skyuppercut bud its not so powerfull so if you want this move better putt it like the 4th move and not the fight move.

thats a good moveset for blaziken and my blazikens moveset is

-blaze kick
-shadow slash
adamant nature

EVs? Ability?
I know EVs are important, so I don't worry so much about EVs. I do care about abilitys and items. Those can make all the difference.

Blaziken @ Focus Sash
Trait: Speed Boost
Evs: 252 Attk / 252 speed / 4 Hp
Nature Adamant

  • Hone Claws
  • High Jump Kick
  • Blaze Kick
  • EarthQuake / Stone Edge / Posion Jab

Blaziken holding a Focus Sash allows him to get off Hone Claws and a Speed boost. With Blaziken getting this Hone Claws boost he raises his attack and his accuracy, making high jump kick/stone edge/blaze kick hit every time. With this boost High jump kick is the obvious choice over sky uppercut because of the raw power. Blaze kick is for STAB and beats Fire punch because of the power and the new accuracy including it has that nice higher chance of a critical hit. Now the final choice really depends on your preference. Earthquake is powerful and has good coverage but cannot hit flying types or Levitate traits. Stone Edge also is powerful and has good coverage plus it can hit those pesky flying types. Now Poison Jab seems weird but with this new generation (Gen 6) the introduction of Fairy types may pose as a problem for your team. This move helps cover those Fairy types which would normally kill your Dragon/Fighting/Dark types.

I wish I had the privilege to up-vote this. :(

I like to teach mine Blaze Kick due to STAB and the high-critical hit ratio, Sky Uppercut for STAB and due to the fact it can hit a foe using Fly or Bounce, Shadow Claw to combat it's weakness to Psychic and it's high-critical hit ratio, and last but not least ThunderPunch to combat it's Flying and Water weakness.
Also have it hold a Wide Lens to upgrade accuracy 10% to make Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut hit about 99% of the time instead of the normal 90%. Or you could have it hold a Razor Claw or Scope Lens to raise it's critical hit ratio one level.
